After 2 months without winning anything, this week I got a bit lucky: I've won 3 giveaways (2 of them public) and managed to ninja 2 desura keys. Nothing really special about that, but it made me happy =)

So I decided to buy two copies of Dead Pixels to give away to two special users who have been blessed with a lucky number. "What are you talking about? Just give me the darn link to the giveaway" you might be thinking, and the answer is quite simple: lol, no. The is how I'll give the games:

  • One copy will be given to the first person with a prime number as SteamID. Doesn't matter if he/she already have the game. Just take it, dude. You deserve it. (*edit: already given. Check second comment to find the lucky guy)
  • The other copy will be at a giveaway page and its link will be given to the 10 people who post anything here 24 hours from now with the SteamID closest to a prime number and doesn't have the game. If two or more people tie up the 10th place, all of them will receive the link. I might make a spreadsheet for this later if my lazyness don't kick in.

What the freak is a SteamID?
It's a unique number to identify your Steam profile. You can check it here. Use the SteamID64 number for this giveaway.

What about this "prime number" thingy?
Skipping math classes, huh? A prime number (or a prime) is a natural number greater than 1 that has no positive divisors other than 1 and itself. Wikipedia

And how the hell am I supposed to check whats the closest prime to my SteamID?
Fear not, my friend, for I have links to the closest prime and its distance from your SteamID. If you haven't figured it out, replace the number of the beast by the number of your SteamID. If you haven't figured it out, the number of the beast is 666.

I am not a native english speaker, so please forgive any grammar mistakes.
Good luck, I guess.

Time available to enter the contest has ended. I made the spreadsheet I mentioned above and you can check the results there. If you are eligible to enter the giveaway, please accept my friend request so I can send you the link for the giveaway.

I think this is what you wanted:

Dumb remark: what does it mean? :D

The's two numbers in the result are the distance from the first prime before and after. Check 8, for instance: the primes around it would be {8-1, 8+3} = {7,11}. For primes the second number on the list is zero.
