And it was busted using magnets, the guy deserved a Nobel Prize.

I never knew that gay people were secretly magnets wearing a human skin.
What would Magneto say about this? If the master of magnetism endorses them, then I will embrace it :3

gasp So that's why Ian McKellen plays Magneto in the X-Men movies, and why his powers look realistic. He really is a magnet.

Comparing magnets and humans isn't anything new..
People used to say people who are opposite to each other (not physically.. I am saying.. uhh.. psychology?.. I don't know which word is right..) are more likely to become (close) friends than people who are similar.. just like the poles of magnets...

That's somewhat true.

There's various personalities who don't work well together with people with similar personality.

Egomaniacs come to mind. But even the nicest people are probably better with not-so-nice people than people just as nice as them. They balance each other, that's something friends do.

One thing is comparing human nature with nature, it's a whole other thing to say it proves anything. Opposites attract - is the saying, but in reality people with similar interests end up in that long happy marriage.

I suppose that's true.. I don't really have much knowledge about it so I can't say anything from experience.. (or experience from watching others) x3

Nigeria hates gay marriage A LOT, and they will do everything to prove to the world that it shouldn't happen.

So.. does this apply to samesex-friendships too or does only sexual attraction behave like magnets?

Would be funny to have a discussion with that morron xD

It is a known fact that magnets are perverts and only think about sex.

Well.. if we really do think ourselves as north/south poles of magnets.. Then.. if two people.. regardless of their gender.. if they are attracted to each other.. doesn't that mean they are both of the opposite poles?

Oh and also, every magnet (as far as I know) has both poles.. so.. just turn around o-o

I would say gay marriage is wrong. I would say straight marriage is wrong. Don't marry at all! Animals don't marry, it's unnatural to marry!

Neither do magnets. Also as far as we know magnets don't have any religion either. Nor do they give birth. I think it's time to rethink humanity.

with enough force you can make the same poles of two magnets touch each other.

doesn't this prove how strong the bond between a gay couple has to be for them to marry?

Nigeria's laws on homosexual acts are notoriously harsh; current legislation punishes homosexual acts with up to 14 years in jail, or, in some northern regions of the country, death by stoning.

Dear Sir:

I have contacted you for assistance in resolving a matter. Myself and the University of Lagos have recently concluded a large scale study concerning proof that gay marriage is immoral, unnatural, and generally wrong. The study was a great success, which has immediately prompted the University of Lagos to give me a study grant equaling US$40,000,000. The University of Lagos is desirous of conducting this research in other parts of the world for the sake of comparison, however, because of certain regulations of the Nigerian Government, it is unable to move these funds to another region.

You assistance is requested as a non-Nigerian citizen to assist the University of Lagos, and also the Central Bank of Nigeria, in moving these funds out of Nigeria. If the funds can be transferred to your name, in your United States account, then you can forward the funds to remote research facilities as directed by the University of Lagos. In exchange for your accommodating services, the University of Lagos would agree to allow you to retain 10%, or US$4 million of this amount.

However, to be a legitimate transferee of these moneys according to Nigerian law, you must presently be a depositor of at least US$100,000 in a Nigerian bank which is regulated by the Central Bank of Nigeria.

If it will be possible for you to assist us, we would be most grateful. We suggest that you meet with us in person in Lagos, and that during your visit I introduce you to the representatives of the University of Lagos, as well as with certain officials of the Central Bank of Nigeria. We can also go over the details of my very important research and why it must be shared with the world.

Please call me at your earliest convenience at 12-345-6789. Time is of the essence in this matter; very quickly the Nigerian Government will realize that the Central Bank is maintaining this amount on deposit, and attempt to levy certain depository taxes on it.

Yours truly,

Chibuihem Amalaha

Well actually, the fact that a random guy wrote a trollpaper isn't new.

The official endorsement of his university, on the other hand, is something to worry about.

More of a worry for UNILAG students really. Something like this could lose the institution its international accreditation and completely devalue the qualification they are working towards.

Nigeria is a country where 97% of citizens believe homosexuality is wrong, and where homosexuals are openly persecuted. It is against the law and if found guilty the sentence in some parts of the country is death by stoning.

So it's really not surprising that the student or even his University would have this attitude.

If this proves that gay marriage (or being gay in general) is wrong, it also proves that polygamy is the right thing for humans. Or did you encounter a magnet that only wanted to stick to one specific other magnet?
