Do you feel guilty for not giving some of your games the attention they deserve?
Me neither, but then again, my wishlist is quite big xD
Not limited by the GPU however, luckily enough!
And you are very much welcome and good luck in winning something from the train :)

I totally agree with you, Inquisitor. I'm addicted too!

Ahahahaha, good point as well. dunno if it's the part of the problem itself, or a solution to it!? o.O

I did too... Look at me noooooooooow :D
No problem, best of luck :D

I agree with your comments and feel the same way. What if Steam had an option where it would randomly pick an unplayed game and "lock out" your other games (not really lock it out but just appear that way) so it would kind of force us to play untouched games. You think something like that would work and get us to play more games from our libary?

Now, I know I saw something like that already! Somewhere... -_- Maybe someone else will give us more insight into that...
I don't know if it would help, it could, if you stick to one game before finding another.

I honestly have no idea, don't keep track of it. Either way - LIFTED, you can enter now if you still wish :)

Welcome and have the best of luck! :) I am glad you enjoyed it

Had the same issue... had... but at the end decided to go like this "If a game doesnt get my attention in first 90mins then might just not bother at all with it unless I end up with free time and nothing to play" . Manage to get rid of backlog and overthinking what to play.
On top of that also ended up buying less games(so can afford 1 AAA I want to play over getting 10 indies that may not play at all). Quality over quantity!
And a bump for the train.

Ah, nice recipe! And I agree... but I am having problems with having a lot of games I KNOW I would play for more than that time, hence my decision to refrain a bit so I can catch up :)
And quality over quantity always! ;)

Hehe, yeah I applied to BLAEO... Really needed a "Can't stick to a game anonymous" xD
Well, yeah, not that I've been entering any GAs for games I do not intend to play, but piling up so many great games that I can't seem to even start (mostly bought by myself, winnings have 99% of an advantage xD )
Like, I bought Arcanum, Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition (still haven't touched them), have Fallout 4 to finish... see!? :D

i only feel bad if i dont really enjoy a game that I won, eventhough it had looked pretty fun

Yeah, I do too a bit, but no way of knowing, is it? :/
Although, I feel much more guilty for the other reasons I stated than that one :D

Ah, don't kill me, but I haven't watched it!!! although, I will make that wrong right xD
And here I was secretly wishing you to be a gummy bear :/

I think just recently I started to decide to limit my entries to games that I would probably actually play, rather than joining any giveaway with a game that has trading cards. I agree though, winning feels SO GOOD and it's just... kind of hard to drop that. >-<

Not what I was doing but I do agree on the winning part xD

Hello all,
this is your Inquisitor! Settle down, I am not here to prosecute you, instead, I am here to prosecute ME!
There comes a time when we realize we have so little time, yet so many games; so many games we haven't even touched yet, or there is a time when that particular thought is always on our mind, all the time... That is what happened to me.
Now, some will say how there is no such thing as "too many games", with which I wholeheartedly agree, but I am not saying there is too many games, I am saying that I have too many games.
I've been winning on SG, winning elsewhere, heck recently I won four games in just three days from different sources of giveaways! And I've come to a realization... I am hooked on winning!
Winning makes me feel great, and something about having games, knowing they are in our library, is inexplicably present with us all (especially during some nasty sales!) Oooooh, Imma buy this sucka, been wanting this game since forever, now I'll have it and I will play it sometimes...
Now, don't get me wrong, I've never entered a GA without an intention to play the game eventually , at least try it out, but it all lead to a situation where I cannot play the won game in the next two or three months, sometimes even more! Plus, I love RPG games, so imagine how much time a won game has to wait now that I have Fallout 4 or Baldur's Gate or... you get the picture :) I don't want to merely fire up the won game only to rack up some minutes so that the GA holder can see that I've played it, I want to enjoy it to its fullest, because that's why I've entered his GA in the first place!
It's hard to resist a great sale and a great GA with very few entries! ;)
I've come to a situation where I'd hop from a game to another game and not beat any of them. I do enjoy them but it frustrates me that I don't finish them if I already like them! And I started thinkin' how it was back in the day when I didn't have money, nor I had internet... I had a lot less games, hell you could count them on your fingers, and I'd beat them - one by one...
Therefore, I have decided to cut back on entries, A LOT, and only enter new AAA games that I won't be able to afford in the next years and maybe some rare gems xD But mostly - to catch up with all my games, all of them that I want to play, that I want to beat!
Some of you already practice this and some of you don't. And I admire most the philosophy of "only take what you need"
Thanks to anyone who read my little rambling right here and thanks to everyone who is still reading to this point :D
Now, as promised, a humble little train...
The Giveback train (#firstworldproblem train)
