Hey there human and alien alike! My small and super secret group is brewing a new SECRET SAUCE! Last time was kinda cool, let's make this one great once again.

Steps to complete:

  1. Check if you're on my whitelist with my previous Besiege giveaway, if you are - go to step no. 3! If not, proceed to 2.
    Check: http://www.steamgifts.com/giveaway/VV9d2/besiege

  2. Not whitelisted yet? This means you need to hit the secret sauce! Check how on "Secret Sauce: The Mission". Once you hit the sauce proceed to step 3

  3. On the above mentioned GA there's now a new poll! Submit your vote for our next game giveaway, which will start once we hit 100 members. Proceed to 4.

  4. Join our group! Add Amorphism to your steam friends and get invited. Don't do it unless you're whitelisted(!) of course. The more people who join the faster we'll get our awesome GA started.

Note: If there are more votes than the number of people on my whitelist it will be disqualified and a new one will start. So no sharing of the poll/cheating please.

Secret Sauce: The Mission

Greetings Sauce Agent, this is your mission should you choose to accept it:

  • Remember gift of laughter from our last Secret Sauce GA? A lot of great suggestions there but I still want more stuff that'll make me laugh. So this mission is more specific - recommend a comedy routine (standup or a sketch only!), if I laugh you're golden.

  • I'm a podcast guy and always on the scout for an engaging podcast to tingle my brain. Recommend a a specific episode for a podcast you think is great, if it piques my interest you're in! Remember, just recommending a podcast isn't enough. Hint: remove the following from your suggestions becasue I'm already listening to them: RadioLab,Freakonomics, WTF with Marc Maron, The Partially Examined Life.

  • Besides Game of Thrones which is almost over and Bates Motel which I've been binge watching upto season 3, I'm pretty much out of series to watch! Your mission is to recommend a good series, even I've already watched it you'll get in, extra respect points for a series I wasn't aware of!

As before, no double-triple-infinite-post. One unedited post is enough. You can try multiple suggestion of course.

Super-Agent Amorphism Out!

As always - don't share the secret sauce If you found it. ;)

Attention! People are repeating recommendations (mostly series) that were suggested multiple times! Use the search above. Example: Breaking Bad has been suggested 3 times.

If you're going for standup, I have to recommend an old favorite: Pablo Francisco's Comedy Central Presents routine. He's since created several other, longer acts, but this one got him started. Also the genesis of Little Tortilla Boy.

Enjoy!

I'm surprised that no one suggested The Walking Dead already.
Is there only me on this thread who thinks it's an interesting series? LOL
*EDIT: Nevermind! I saw them now.

My interests are in:
Crime type - White Collar, The Mentalist, Perception
Adventure ones - Sleepy Hollow, Once upon a time
Hooorrrooor - American Horror Story
Them Drama - The Returned (has been remade to 2015's one!)

*EDIT: Person of Interest too! How could I forget?

  • If your up for a laughter, even though it's not a comedy routine at all, I cannot let you not know this crazy french guy (Remì) He's just the funniest prankster I've ever seen!
  • I'm not a podcast guy, so I'm not the right person to give you advice
  • When we are dealing with series I could advise you to check out:
"Chuck" if you want to laugh and follow a good storyline!
"Black Mirror" if you are looking for something blowing your mind.
    "Wilfred if you're that crazy!

well i dont know about podcasts, but for tv shows, id like to recommend jonathan strange and mr norrell (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2548418/reference)... im really getting into it - its not a fast paced show, but im loving the story and the characters! For comedy, perhaps some bill bailey : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zjpFRviS0kw

Lots of good, well-known series mentioned already (Firefly and the IT Crowd came to mind for me) but I'm surprised to see Red Dwarf not get a mention yet. It's a hilarious, and yet at times captivating, British sci-fi/comedy series starring a cast of misfit crew that, through a series of unfortunate events, are left on their own piloting their ship millions of years in the future with no goal in sight with the aid of their computer AI. It was quite successful and there's plenty of it to binge on.

Good series?
Did you try Supernatural or Leverage? (I used to like those 2 the most, back when I liked to watch serials, you won't be able to stop :3 )

I assume everyone on the internet would already know, but if you enjoy comedy and you've yet to watch Community, do yourself the favor. One of the better written comedies of the past decade, it stuffs wit, ambition and culture into a half-hour joyride. For a taste of the show's willingness to go for the big concept episodes, check out Season One's "Modern Warfare," episode 23 (also known as the Paintball episode). Good laughs, supremely entertaining.

As for podcasts, you should check out Filmspotting, a movie podcast by two critics from Chicago. Both hosts provide good, interesting takes on the movies, but are also fair with their criticism, not prone to hyperbole. Their talks on movies makes me feel educated and make me want to seek out the movies. They also have a segment called "Massacre Theatre," where they take beloved movie scenes and slaughter them with their awful acting. Check out their big review episode 300, but the current combination of hosts, Adam and Josh, are probably my favorites.

Well, i'll vote for : Life Is Strange (Full Season!)
but tvshows? i watch 4 at the moment:

  1. Doctor who (out of season)
2.. Sherlock (BBC - out of season)
  2. Daredevil (already suggested three times)
  3. the simpsons (season 27 in september).
  4. forgot about "the flash" but i won't recommend it.

that said, i do have something for you. its the third season of Torchwood (doctor who spinoff).
the Torchwood itself is not very good. the third season is amazing
it is called "children of earth" and only 5 episodes. very very very good. don't have to know anything to understand and enjoy

I suggest you Dexter. Imagine a serial killer with an ethic code working for CSI.

But my favourite is Prison Break, it will keep you every second in tension, you will not want to stop watching for the next episode because you NEED to know what's next ;)

Nobody suggested this podcast? o.O Actually, I think it makes sense because this does anything but tingle your brain, but if you want a comedy podcast: RT Podcast #151. They also have video form for quite few episodes if you'd prefer that instead. For example, this animation is taken from one of the podcasts as well.
