Oh believe me, I've been more frustrated with devious ways of finding puzzles! I didn't want to make an easy puzzle, but it's far from impossible. I did however checked that my actual puzzle wasn't easily googable to see how many people got it with little help, there's only 1 game that's a rather cult franchise, the other ones are all blockbusters and most of them regarded as classics.
I will lend a helping hand every day, don't worry :]

Not too good. You say the questions are ordered chronologically. After I tried the first question and saw it is about a game I never played (at least I think so), because it was after my console days (SNES + a tiny bit N64), I am sad to say I gave up. Maybe I will try again.

N64 was misleading. Never owned one, played a little Mario, Kart, Golden Eye and Killer Instinct at friends. Thanks for the puzzle anyway :)
