ozo2003 are you doing something currently on the website? Because it seems that top solvers page doesn't load properly. I see you're online so maybe you're working on it
Edit: Oh, I see that the puzzles are being verified, so that may cause the problems, nevermind :P

Hey ozo2003, I just saw a cheat puzzle coming up soon and was wondering does everybody have to solve the puzzle or is is it for the participants who haven't completed the previous puzzles in time also do we get points for solving the puzzle if we solved all the previous puzzles?

It looks like it's just to bump the number of puzzles to qualify for top-solvers/christmas list, no points: https://ozoxmas.vairogs.events/help/cheat/puzzle

I am so mad at myself for missing out on the event! I love Jigis!
Work has been more than spotty in 2020 but of course I had to get shifts just when your event started!
Loving the variety in the Jigis. Will you make the puzzles available for solving after the event is over?

I don't understand a thing if you can help me clarify it, in case you've missed a day... what is the point of doing a cheat puzzle (an hell of 576 black pieces) instead of waiting for the cheat days (doing old puzzles is a lot easier instead of this one)? Is there any advantage? Thank you. :)

Mmm but even if you missed (random number) puzzles the Cheat Puzzle is still worth only 1 day, isn't it? I fell that even if you missed the 5th or 6th of december (probably the days with the hardest puzzles) it'll be way better to wait for the cheat day instead of doing this cheat puzzle. Just wondering and to talk, I've missed no jigs at the moment. :)

as i said, if missing few, this is not necessary. but if missing bunch, cheat puzzles may give some boost and less to solve on cheat days. if you scroll all the way down the top, you can see people missing 10, 15 or more puzzles. I don't think you can do 15 puzzles in a day :D

Would it be smart to wait for a cheat day? Yes
Do I hate myself and will still do the cheat puzzle? Yes

The slight gray mist is not helping in the slightest, if you stare at the pieces they just become black

After 2.5 hours, I have the frame done, the pieces sorted and maybe 2 dozen in place. Since I have a mole growing on my iris, the slight gray mist is definitely a thing... I try to change up the background color though and that seems to help. I wonder how long it's going to stay open since I am only missing the first 8...

Oof I wish you good luck!
I tried adjusting background color and the brightness/contrast settings on my monitor but it just made my eyes hurt more to stare for so long.

No idea what you were expecting for the cheat puzzle but it took me over 7 hours and I'm one of the faster solvers participating in this event. That all for only one point being added is really not worth it.

You were explaining earlier that the cheat puzzle is primarily meant for people that are missing a bunch of puzzles and don't have time to do ~15. But I doubt these people would have the time to do 7 hours of one hell puzzle for only one point.
Just as feedback, that this seems a bit flawed. I appreciate that you give the option of cheat days/cheat puzzles, but this is a pretty unrealistic balancing.

Bump for two more solved! Love those, very colorful :D
Now to figure out how to make a full black puzzle... no idea, will try though :)
Edit: tried and got to 1/6th done after 3,5 hours, but i can't finish it due to lack of time unfortunately. will have to try the next cheat one :)

I don't have the time nor really energy to do 2-300 (and ++) puzzles daily, no matter the prize, sorry. But I wanted to tell you that the pictures you choose for the jigidis are beautiful and atmospheric- if your site will stay up, I'd play one every now and then when I'm in the puzzle-y mood :)

Hi. This has been a strange year. I have created a lot of giveaways but why not create even more? Some of you may have already seen or participated in pre-Event Event to get some taste of what is coming. I have already attempted similar event but that was years ago.
Similarly as in past event, you can earn points by doing puzzles. All of puzzles will be jigidis.
All puzzles will be open exactly 24 hours. To earn an entry to better Christmas giveaways, you must solve all puzzles in this event. There will be at least 2 puzzles each day.
All point values will be available in point section once that section is live (in next few days). I will try to finish Help section by the start of the event.
I have made a simple website for this event. Everything related to event will be posted there. Website has a steam login and to participate, you must have steamgifts account (obviously). If you have a different username in jigidi, there will be a possibility to set that username on website.
All giveaways in this event will end on December 28th 12:00 AM UTC+2. Website itself also operates in UTC+2 timezone and giveaways open/close on midnight. Once your submission is checked, submission form will be replaced with a link to giveaway unless you already own the game.
To your submission be counted as valid, you must follow some rules/guidelines. These rules will also be written Help section in bit more detail. pre-Event event is a good taste of what you will need to do.
RULES / GUIDELINES of submissions:
Within each 24 hours you will be able to edit your submission as much as you want. Pages with top solvers by day and overall will be created later on.
All giveaways are for level 1.
If you are on my blacklist, sorry. It's highly unlikely that I will remove anyone from my blacklist but you can try to plea in comments.
If by any chance you find a bug, you can submit a bug report on website. Just make sure that something like that hasn't been already submitted.
