"Dear Merchant,

The invasion of Ukraine by Russian and Belarusian forces is an unprovoked act of war on innocent people. Kinguin strongly opposes Russia’s actions and stands in solidarity with and supports its Ukrainian colleagues, friends, and the nation's citizens.

In response to the aggression, Kinguin has decided to:

Disable Russian and Belarusian merchants from selling through Kinguin, until further notice.
Block all the current active offers and disable the creation of new ones by the Russian and Belarusian merchants.
Disable all payouts to Russian and Belarusian bank accounts and payment intermediaries.
We understand that our merchants and customers based in Russia and Belarus are not directly responsible for the war in Ukraine. However, we are confident that our actions are necessary and we believe that to show our solidarity with the nation of Ukraine we need to apply these restrictions to all Russian and Belarusian companies, banks, and merchants.

Those updates will be effective from 4 March 2022. Already accumulated funds will be available for withdrawal, however, some of the payout methods will not be available, as stated above. Access to the account will also be available, unless some unwanted actions will be taken, which may result in suspending the account.

Our thoughts are with everyone affected by this crisis.

Microsoft and EA already stopped selling their titles in Russia and Belarus, Valve should just pull the plug with Steam because obviously more developers will follow anyway

Your country is currently invading another country. I know it's not easy to understand the things happening around you right now. It's not fair, but people are fleeing and dying because of an action that your leader decided to take. You are not personally guilty nor evil. It's a very sad situation to be in.

It really has to suck. I am really sorry this is happening. There is a current rusophobia trending in the world right now, and that is very worrying. I can understand it, considering the situation. But it sucks for innocent people like you.

hi Cerhi. Please don't use the term nazi all over the place, its no more constructive than banish just because you live behind a frontier.
I am sorry for the inconveniences for russian ppl, it's always worrying to see ppl ostracize other ppl because they're not born at the good place.
We can see the same phobia seen against asians because of Covid origins (still not determined exactly)
Firms sheep behaviours that affect ppl and not putler are ridiculous and shouldnt exist.
But this war shouldn't exist too.
However it has something comic to see grey market actors denounce anything while themselves are not angels
Stay reinsured most of people have nothing against russian ppl, we all wish you a better treatment, beginning by being informed correctly and honestly and not being threatened and jailed because of opinions or "fake news relaying" .
Lot of ppl think also the change must come from russian army or russian ppl to bring down your leader who has too much blood on his hands, and I think it's a global strategy to league russians against their leader and go out protest or disapprove in public their government (but once again, you right saying they should better take russians money and give to victims instead of stupidly banish them from everywhere)

I hope to God Russia won't decide to protect my people LOL

Also look at me not getting jailed when I say this:
Draghi, Macron, Biden, Scholz and Biden sucks !

They decide what people see, hear, read and, in consequente, chat in pupbs and bars all over the world.

Ok this is so stupid I won't even make fun of that.

You hate the United States and NATO, okay. But the Ukrainians have nothing to do with the doing of the United States and NATO, the Ukrainians no longer want to be puppets of Russia.

Who cares about Kinguin? Last time I heard about them, they (by "they", I mean the dealers and the site's scummy tactics too) were caught peddling keys using stolen credit cards just like G2A.

Kinguin can ban any nationality all they want, that doesn't change the fact that they are still a despicable website at the core. Seriously, there are a thousand much more legit stores with around the same prices, plus you don't have to worry about accidentally supporting card fraud.

Pettiness on display.

Leaving Russia no exit strategy should make this a very peaceful end.

I believe that ALL developers and game stores should continue to sell their games to everyone. They can make a bigger and better statement by donating the money from Russian and Belorussian sales to help Ukraine.
