What is this puzzle and what are the rules?

This is a puzzle giveaway. If you know what that is and how it works, skip this passage. If not, let me introduce you to the most beautiful part of Steamgifts community: You already know of public giveaways, and most likely, group giveaways. Puzzle giveaways are similar to those, but more fun because you have to solve a puzzle in order to find a hidden page, so you could enter the giveaway.

The rules of this website are that you have to do it alone - you are not allowed to ask for tips, help from others (here OR anywhere else) or share the answers and links to giveaway pages with others once you solve the puzzle. Break the rules and your account will be suspended. Feel free to read the FAQ and search the forums for previous discussions on this topic.

Now, you can see why this is more fun than just clicking on green enter button. You get not just the excitement of waiting for a giveaway to end in order to see if you have won something, but also an adventure of solving the puzzle and racing against the clock. Also, most of the people can not take the pressure and they just give up, or don't even know how to solve the puzzle, so giveaways like this one have less entries in general, which means that you - one of the solvers - have more chance of winning. Isn't that FUN?

ADDITIONAL RULE for this particular puzzle is that you have to comment on each giveaway page before entering. If the winner has not commented, I'll ask for a re-roll. There are various topics suggested, in order to set the general tone, but you are free to comment off topic if that is your will. This rule is pre-approved by the support. Also, blacklisted people are not allowed to enter any of the giveaways, of course.

Welcome fellow Steamgifters and Giftslingers! My birthday is upon us (in a month or so), so I decided to create a not-a-puzzle in order to celebrate. Smart thing would be to unleash it upon you all 5 or even 10 days before the day of my birth, but I am not known as a patient man. Also, I'm afraid some (later) parts could be way too hard for a regular forum dweller, so more time could be needed. Because of that, you have ~20+ days for a not-a-puzzle meets a puzzle chain adventure!

What this means is that in order to get to the next step/puzzle, you need to solve the previous. No worries, there are (not always subtle) hints on where to go next and what to do, sometimes even direct links to the next puzzle, so there will be no aimless wandering... at least not in the beginning.

The puzzle includes gifts with contributors value required ranging from $30.99 up to $69.99 for games that were in bundles, and up to $199.99 for games that were not in any kind of bundle... yet. I think that is fair - there's something for everyone, and CV required are pretty low for the best part. Even if you don't have the CV required, you can always have fun while solving the not-a-puzzle itself.

You have time until June 25th at 1.00 am CEST (GMT+2) but please start at least a few days before that date.

Hints

• Do not wait the last moment to start. Difficulty depends on your experience.
• Look, read, do not rush. Everything is given somewhere, I will not ask you to guess or use psychic abilities. Look for the clues.
• All steps/puzzles are already available. Just find a way to reach them. Don't quit too early.
• When announcing your progress, please reply to your original comment.
• DO NOT name the games that are gifted! You can mention steps.
• Some hints will be added later, depending on the need.

Early Access

There's a special EARLY ACCESS giveaway for the fastest solvers. Find the clues and get to the special giveaway that will close 15 days earlier than the rest of them. Appropriately, it's a very cool early access game that you most likely do not have.
