My games are worth way more then everyone elses!!
Starbound goes for 4-5 keys standard. Anything more than that is a waste of your time. Also remember the game is still in Early Access with no release window.

No, the thing that gets me about Windward is that at one time the Dev was giving it away for free, and I missed it. T.T

I fully agree with you.
Everyday I get new trade offers. 90% of them complete bullshit offers, like 1 x Duke Nukem 3D for my 3 x Terraria.
Even here on steam trades. Almost EVERYONE who creates a thread saying they have games to trade, want an absurd amount for them.
Here are the problems about Steam trading:
That being said, it should also be mentioned, that just because a game has the same current store value, doesn't make them equal to trade-in value. Newer games that are more popular, have a higher trade value than older games, even if the store value is the same.

The simple example - "I trade 1 card for yours 2". You can often see that in the biggest trading group. The conclusion of this bullshit - schooltraders try to scam everyone, they think that they are clever and overprice is necessary. So trading 1:1 or for same price is very rare thing. Really better to use gifts like a gifts and to buy cards in market. On my opinion, the best trading exists only with old friends.

This is true, although, my friends and I never "Trade" we send eachother "Gifts".
This makes it a surprise somewhat, because we pick a game from eachothers Wishlist, and see how our friend likes it.
Back the 1st time the Saints Row Franchise Pack sold for $10.99, I bought it for a friend in the EU.
I always tell my friends in the EU not to go all out, because I'm a firm supporter that the Dollar/Euro Pricing is BS.
While the price has gone down somewhat, a Euro is still worth more then a Dollar, and a Digital Game, is the same game, whether you play it in the U.S. or the E.U.
I've also offered to do trades with my E.U. friends, where I buy the games they want in Dollars then we punch the amount into a converter, and figure out what that is in Euro, and buy something offa my wishlist that's of equal or slightly lesser value, so they can use me to buy games at U.S. prices.
I ask this of all of you that are U.S. and Canadian citizens, Isn't it just BS that your friends in Western Europe are getting Overcharged?
If you're in a Similar position as me, and have friends in the E.U. you should help them get their games at a fair price, until Valve and the VAT are amended so that E.U. members can buy their games at a fair price.

Ok, so there's 2 games I've been trying to trade for that every "Trader"
I contact seems to think is worth 10x the Store Price.
Starbound, and Windward!
Every person I've tried to trade for these games wants either twice their
Value in CS:GO keys, or 10x their value in Steam Gifts from my inventory.
Are these people just Nucking Futs!!?
As far as I know, neither game is going to be Discontinued like Family guy,
yet the people trading them treat them like I'm trying to steal their
"Pride and Joy" and Demand some ridiculous trade for them.
Since I don't have Children, I can't Trade them my 1st born child,
and that always makes them sad, then they demand my entire
Steam Inventory for them!!
Why the Hell would I pay more then the listed Price of $15?
Edit: Ok, so admittedly, some of this was just me being frustrated.
The poll was a joke mostly. I don't think You can even view who voted
for what, so it should'nt matter.
As for the Games, I bought Starbound for 7.50, and I'm pursuing a few leads
on the other game.
Thank you all for your help and your Criticism.
"You can't Make an Omelette, without breaking a few Eggs!".
Note: Certain game like Family Guy: Back to the Multiverse are expensive
due to having been discontinued on Steam.
This does'nt mean the Keycode won't work, it means that Keycodes are now
the ONLY way to acquire the game, making them "Collector's Items"
Update: While I have'nt gotten all the games I want, the Suggestions, and Logic
that People have given me on this thread has given me a new insight into the
Trading market.
I understand now why the games I've been trading are being treated the way
they have, and how I can handle that.
More over, I have a better understanding of the Value of Keys, and why at this
time the market "Seems" insane, is due to the Traders being as unwilling as
me to trade their games for less then they thought they could get.
Sadly, the new region locks have severely altered the Price of Keys, and the
people who are trying to sell their games at "Insane" prices, have actually made
the same mistake that I did, and are over valueing their games based on the old
Market Value of Keys.
The new market value for keys is much higher, meaning that in relation, the
games are worth far less then they used to be.
I've heard of games where the trade wanted 22 keys.
Now I've done the math and even if you were able to buy keys at $0.90, 22 Keys
would be around $20, but sadly, I have'nt seen a drop below the in game sale
value of the keys.
While there may be "Key Sellers" out there that sell their keys cheaper, sadly the
Price of Keys going up, means the cost of the games must go down, because
the keys being worth more now, means that 22 keys isn't $20, it's closer to $40.
I took this persaonally because I became frustrated trying to get what was IMO
simply a Keycode worth no more then the last sale price of the game.
When in fact, the "Gift" items that People wanted in Trade have gone even
further down in price, because of their Frequent Sales and Bundling.
Also, my Mistrust of the Keycode format, means that I need to make many, Many
more trades, using Keycodes left over from Bundles to increase my trade score.
I won't be jumping right back into trading though, until I can revalue everything I
have, so that It meets the current market Value.
Thank you all Again for your contributions to this Thread, You've helped me Greatly. :-)
