What is the difference between 'completed' or 'beaten' the game?

It really doesn't matter much how you class it as. We don't have different monthly stats for beaten and completed, just both combined so its just your preference.
Typically completed is if you get 100% achievements and beaten is for if you missed any
For games without achievements its just your preference again. I class it as beaten but others choose to do the opposite.

As cece said. completed means just 100% achievements and beaten is you are at least through the main story once. Most games with achievments have some ending achievement. And if you have a game without aby achievements then make a screenshot from the credits ;)

You can join in and beat (beat the main story)/complete (100% all achievements) any win that fits the current theme (see first post) until the end of the month (see timer), If your win does not have any achievements a screenshot of the end credits should do fine.

I started playing Sniper Elite V2 and remembered of this topic. Surprise, surprise, I think it's eligible as a game with phones. I just have to either find a screenshot of it online or I'll take one next time I boot up the game.

Hi, you added Hitman: Sniper Challenge to the event but I can only see that you won a different Hitman game of SG. Was it a part of the game you won or is it not a SG win?

My bad, I should've said something. It's a "bonus" game that comes with Hitman Absolution (sg win), which I actually am playing through right now and will try to finish yet this month and add it there as well.

If you ever have any games where the name doesn't match to the game submitted please do just leave me a note as you said so I know (I know for some packs/name differences by memory, but I don't know them all) :) Good luck and have fun with Hitman then!

It appears I cannot request a join since I was kicked from the group earlier. Apparently I joined 3 years ago, July 2020 (I left a comment on the group thanking for the invite). I don't really remember why I entered or was kicked. I must have not played something then?

I don't remember what exactly were the requirements to join back in 2017 as I was not running the group back than, but nowadays you are invited to join after you participate once and to stay in the group you just have to participate every once in a while (intentionally vague to prevent abuse sorry).
If you are interested in joining just sent me a friend request on Steam and I will send you a group invite(I can't invite you if we are not friends).

Since it's not obligatory to play a sg win if I have none which fits the "theme", I'll try to do that, since what prevents me the most to play more is knowing what to play (apart from free time xD). I'll send you a friend request then!

Yeah, I'm (now) aware of that. I didn't check all the themes but I do know I still have some puzzle games left, hence removing the submissions. For the August theme, I already checked the themes and games, so I already know a few of them that are eligible and I'll try to play when I have some free time :)

Molecule - a chemical challenge is fine and I have verified it, but from what you said (finished 10 minutes ago and looking at the time this comment was posted) I am afraid you might have been too late with that one, sorry.

If you're talking about Molecule, I had finished that around 12th July when I posted. I had only just finished the other game at the "10' part".
EDIT: I mean I posted it a couple of days before and finished the 12th as you can see in the achievement stats. If there's any other reason, like having to have played all that I posted, then yep, I understand.

Woooops, I missed a couple words in there, my bad. Molecule is fine as I said in the first sentence and I verified it. The Sakura game is the one that I think might have been finished after the event has already ended (00:00 UTC).

I am not sure how better to explain this to you: Molecule is verified, approved, its fine, you can see the giveaways on the website. You only need one game, doesn't matter that Sakura Agent was late.
