How much did you spend?
I bought the following:
Total War: WARHAMMER II - The Warden & The Paunch on fanatical because it was cheaper there.
Trine 4: Melody of Mystery on Humble because it was cheaper there
Nine Parchments also on Humble, for the same reason.
Grimoire : Heralds of the Winged Exemplar (V2) on GOG, and part of me feel kind of bad about it because I supported a terrible person in the process, but 0,8€ seemed like a low enough price. Might finally be able to find out what a game made by an insane person with a huge ego might look like.

I'm mostly very happy with these but I probably should have waited with Forza and played the Game Pass version till a greater discount. Alas, the game itself is great.

Grabbed Days Gone on Voidu for just 14,44€. And to make me feel less guilty about wasting money I downgraded RDR2 to standard and postponed the EU4 DLC. Probably for about a week. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Cardinal Cross, What Remains of Edith Finch, and Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel + some DLC. - $30.16
Not gonna lie I'm probably going to buy more next month, I really want to play The Unfinished Swan and Dogs Organized Neatly. Also Islanders. Might snag an idler game if I'm feeling like it.

Was correct, bought a couple more games including The Unfinished Swan, ended up hating it though so I refunded What Remains of Edith Finch. Game gave me ridiculous migraines so I want nothing to do with Edith Finch.
Total: $52.10
After Refund: $46.11
What Remains of Edith Finch - Refunded
Trails of Cold Steel + DLC
Cardinal Cross
Slime Rancher
Dream Ending
Cookie clicker
Islanders
Dogs Organized Neatly

I think it's a shame to miss out on the great What Remains of Edith Finch just because of a 84% reviewed game with a lot less reviews. At the very least I hope you'll enjoy the story by watching it on Youtube.

I'll watch a bit on it on YouTube but I'm not going to be re-buying it. I'm salty it took me 3 hours to finish The Unfinished Swan, 1 hour to get through the first chapter it was so disorienting. I decided to commit to the game and at least see the ending to see why it has so many positive reviews but it was really.. disappointing?
The only reason I can fathom that it's well liked is because of the relation to Edith Finch, the more popular game since it's confirmed to be about one of the missing finch family members.

I haven't played The Unfinished Swan, so I can't comment on it, but 84% with a lot less reviews is a decent indicator that it has some sort of a shortcoming as an indie game. While 84% may handle that shortcoming to experience the game, it's best that you sort by negative and see if the game is for you. Reading up on those negative reviews, they mention that the Unfinished Swan doesn't have the emotional impact and that was kinda the biggest deal in Edith Finch, so without that... well you can lower your expectations and try to enjoy the rest.
I played Edith Finch when they gave it for free on EGS and can confirm and recommend it for the emotional impact.

On Steam these are what I bought:
Soul Nomad & the World Eaters
Atelier Sophie: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Book DX
What Remains of Edith Finch
Escape Simulator
A Summer's End - Hong Kong 1986
Wallpaper Engine
Wintermoor Tactics Club
Starlight Vega
Detective Rosie Morgan: Murder on the River Thames
Dragon Cliff
Weapon Shop Fantasy
Simmiland
Just about $50 ish in my currency. I'm pretty satisfied with them. I wanted to buy the Phoenix Wright Trilogy as well and I was planning to buy it in HB since it's cheaper that way but it slipped my mind and now it's not on sale anymore.

Well, not everybody only plays the most recent and the most demanding games, and even those games don't necessarily require the most powerful PC, there are medium and even low settings for that. Most of my PC components are 4 years old, GPU is 3 years old, and that's still perfectly fine for 1080p gaming.

My PC must be magical then, and upgrading itself without me knowing it!

My PC is 6 years old, my GPU 5 years. Still playing the newest games at high frame rates.

I spent around 50 euros in Paradox DLCs and VNs (Umineko, Return to Shironagasu Island and Ghosts of Miami). Aside from incredibly underground niche games these are pretty much the only things I still buy on Steam, since it's they're not exactly common in bundles.

Nothing yet, I'm still trying to see how much wallet I can accrue from just selling cards before deciding on a definitive list. There's three things, one program and two games, I'm mostly sure I'll get regardless even if I need to pull out the credit card tho.

I find it increasingly difficult to find games that I'm super interested in. So for most sales I actually don't have a super long list of games I buy, but either end up buying nothing, or just a couple of games. I bought more this year then I usually do, but I also started a YouTube channel, so there were some games I bought with that in mind.
From Steam I ended up getting:
Hollow Knight + DLC
Blasphemous
Valheim
I also bought Dead Cells Bad Seed Bundle off Fanatical.

Dragon Age: Origins - Ultimate Edition | The Fidelio Incident | Gemini: Heroes Reborn | Anachronox | Quantum Conundrum: The Desmond Debacle | Divine Divinity | Half-Life 1: Source | Half-Life: Blue Shift | Half-Life | Conflict: Denied Ops | Half-Life: Opposing Force | Team Fortress Classic | Cookie Clicker | Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered | Downward | Gone Home | Outlast 2 | Valley | The Banner Saga 2 | Dead Space™ 2
All of them were big discounts so i didn't break bank much. Also contemplating buying Nier Automata but its slightly cheaper at Humble Store.

The classic boasting thread and almost the only reason why we still keep buying games during those sales, right?
You are free to include purchases from other stores or systems, besides Steam/PC.
