The classic boasting thread and almost the only reason why we still keep buying games during those sales, right?

Fanatical has Shantae games for cheap (Bundled). Half Genie Hero Ultimate has all the dlc included. Bought 2 Shantae games and Iconoclasts for 10$. https://www.fanatical.com/en/pick-and-mix/platinum-collection-build-your-own-bundle
So far, Half Genie Hero is great, I'm only on level 2.

I prefer taking the game i want to play and be able to return to it whenever i want, and doubt EA will have any other game in the next 20 years I want to play, this is literally their first.

Nice choices. If you like "Seen" - "Seen 2" is planned: Seen 2

Thanks. I'm a bit on the fence about Seen. The game play is different than I imagined. I like the premise of the game, the style and the puzzles but I'm not a big fan of the run, jump and collect part of the game. However, I will definitly check out Seen 2.

Technically, nothing, only bought Vandals with card money.

  • Had been tempted to buy all the Steins Gate games though.

Also another bonus, I removed 70 games from my wishlist, and it's now sitting under 200, the lowest it's been in years.

Planned to buy nothing, ended up with: (partially because I got ~ 9€ from selling my cards and boosters, so yay, more games for a relatively low real-money price):

Skautfold: Moonless Knight
Milk inside a bag of milk inside a bag of milk
Featherfall
Rain of Reflections: Set Free
Skautfold: Into the Fray
Cloudbase Prime
Grab Lab
Laser Lasso BALL
SturmFront - The Mutant War: Übel Edition
Pitfall Planet
One Strike
Valley
Exception
Ginger: Beyond the Crystal
Blood and Bacon
TowerFall Dark World Expansion
Halo: Spartan Bundle

So far the MK11/Injustice 2 ultimate bundle off a giftcard from a gift exchange and then paypal apparently gave me $10 on both of my accounts to make me use them again so I used them to add steam funds. I then got Disco Elysium and Mirrors edge catalyst. Not too bad for not technically spending my own money. When I get paid on the 1st I'm eyeing maybe one of the Gears of War games or Ion Fury.

I got DJMAX Respect V, Marble Land, a Dance of Fire and Ice, Powerwash Sim, Ty 2, the first 2 Far Crys off GOG, Rise of the Triad (the old one) off GOG, Cthulhu Saves Christmas, and the two Witchhavens off GOG.

And I was doing so well on the backlog this year. But 2022 will definitely be musical and an odd nostalgia trip.

As you mentioned "musical" you reminded me that I once funded an actual musical video game, And maybe it will even release in 2022! ;)

Happy Cake Day!

That's cool! Music games are fascinating in their own right, I'll definitely keep an eye out on the one you funded.

Thank you too! :)

Nothing yet. I'm going to get FFX but before I do that I have a question. Is there a difference between Dragon Quest XI for Steam and the Switch?

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

There was an old version on Steam, that had better textures etc. This was replaced by the current edition, which is identical with the Switch version.

Are there any other differences or is it just how it plays on the Switch vs PC? Like console exclusive stuff I mean.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

The Switch has nothing exclusive. The version you can buy on Steam is a port of the Switch version.
