Everything has an end. I mean, once every interested party has "claimed" their achievements and after I've added every achievement imaginable including a few which should have never been added to the spreadsheet in the first place (which is also debatable), there isn't much to do more.
The spreadsheet is still live however, and the group is still open, so are the recruitment. Anyone wants in, they just let me know and I'll review the entry. :P

It's the same thing, too personal. It's fine if it's for cg, or for posting in a certain popular thread, but when it comes to users in particular, it doesn't seem right to use their name or identity even as a joke.

I like how winning 25 makes one a leecher, but winning 50 (twice that of a leecher) makes one a respectable collector. :)

Whew! Just finished binge-adding all my achievements. Some I wasn't sure about, so I didn't add them. Still, I've got quite a few and I'd be at 51 on the leaderboard if it updated automatically. (Isn't there a way to do that in spreadsheet programs?)

A few people have mentioned they were willing to work on something like that in the old thread if I recall correctly, and SGv1 had a script with achievements in it, although most of them were manually given to users and it was pretty outdated/dead. If you want to give it a try, feel free to do so.
I'm not sure what you mean by "explaining how it works" though? Like I said, I have no idea how that coding stuff works so I really have no idea where to start, only that it's theoretically possible. :P

Oh, I see. Well unfortunately I'm pretty sure that you'd have to exclude a large amount of achievements since the majority of them are mostly based on user interaction/multiple factors which I doubt could be coded to be automatized.
As for how the spreadsheet is managed, I think it would be easier to add you on Steam and also invite you to the group so that you can see for yourself and I can explain the details as well. I even typed some instructions as a Google doc so pretty much everything you need to know is accessible if you have access to the sheet.

As some of you may remember, a couple of days ago I launched a public spreadsheet where any and all forum users were granted editing access. The Spreadsheet contained various Steamgifts community related "achievements". In under 24 hours, the sheet was obviously fucked up by some users.
Therefore, I created a group dedicated to the Steamgifts Achievements spreadsheet. It limits the access to only people I deem I can trust, but at least there is a much reduced chance of anything bad happening. Anyways, enough with the introduction. Below is the information you want and need to know.

I'll get right to the point, and give you an uneditable copy of the current spreadsheet. If you think that this is for you and that a spreadsheet is something you are comfortable working with, then you'll probably have fun. Otherwise, I'd recommend staying away from that stuff.
