Bundle Addicts Anonymous (BAA)

Rachellove, KTS and I decided to create a small group for people who are as addicted to bundles, deals, gifting games, making friends, and the SG community as much as we are.

What is BAA?

This is not a ratio-based giveaway group, nor do we focus solely on giving away games. Initially, when we formed this group, we aimed to unite kind-hearted, generous SG members to share giveaways with. However, it has since grown into a friendly gathering of users who feel comfortable chatting, playing games, and sharing thoughts and opinions openly with each other.

Over time, we have adjusted our old rules to accommodate the needs of the group and to incorporate the helpful suggestions of our members.

We strive to build a tight-knit community of people who give much more than they take or receive, enjoy talking to other members, and love the SteamGifts community in general. Most importantly, we expect all members to be active within our group.

Why BAA?

This is, in essence, a smaller community within the greater SG community comprised of individuals with a variety of unique personalities and backgrounds – so all introverts and extroverts are welcome!

We take all of our members very seriously and expect them to follow all rules, including maintaining a real CV ratio and respecting all members of the group.

However, we are also a fun-loving group of people who realize that SG and friendships are more than giving away games – it’s about finding people to connect with, play games with, talk to, and forge lasting relationships with.

When joining, please consider YOUR reasons for joining this group, as we do not accept those who want to use this group as a +1 or to simply give and win games. We take a holistic approach to selecting members, taking into consideration people’s contributions to SG, their personalities and unique attributes, and whether or not they mesh well with our values.

How and When can you join BAA?

Please ensure that you meet all entry requirements listed in the section below and post all necessary information, along with an explanation as to why you would like to join. We will review your application when we begin to accept new members and spots become available.

Member limit: around 100

Entry requirements:

Level 5+
$1 won : $2 sent in Real CV value, not the quantity on your SG profile.
- Check your Real CV stats here. If you qualify please post your Real CV ratio in comments.
1000+ comments and continuously active on forum.
At least 30% of your GAs have to be public or “invite only” forum GAs (not just giveaways for private groups or all region-restricted GAs).
No multiple wins or unactivated games.

Once you join:

Members are not required to create giveaways for our group (but any GAs you do create are greatly appreciated).
You are required to maintain a $1 won : $2 given REAL CV ratio on SteamGifts. (There is no in-group ratio).
Most importantly, remain active within our group – whether that be participating in group events, joining in group chat, creating group GiveAways, and commenting in the group forum and group GAs.

Yikes, at the 1000 comment ratio. Then again, where the heck did I get 300 from?!
More of a lurker than a poster. Unless it counts comments in GA's ... though even then, 80% more likely to be here on the forums. Unless replying to a description, usually post in GA's a thanks message if win, and that's when I remember to do so... sometimes don't, then it feels all weird going back a week later. Need to fix that "habit".

Hmm... otherwise though, apparently.
Real CV for Sent Gifts: 256.89 $
Real CV for Won Gifts: 92.30 $

Feels like won way more than that, value wise, for the entertainment of some of the games.
2.78:1 ratio, give or take. And a more or less 3.7:1 ratio on sent gifts otherwise (122 sent, 33 won)

I don't even really buy bundles all that often, I'll probably be picking up the Valentine HB in a day or two, otherwise once in a blue moon really. Most of my own come from a well known survey/game website otherwise, if only could get a few referrals on there.. x.^ lol. Often reliant on GA's here too for some of the bundles, since not all (or not all tiers) show up there. If the bundles are covered at all.
