I'm Penguin-Powered

Certainly not, assuming it means older games are less likely to work.

Start learning how to use Linux is the future of Gaming ..... and I am not kidding :)

Khronos OpenROAD is an animated video featuring all the royalty-free Khronos APIs working together in an open ecosystem. We started with an idea: a simple sketch of a sports car–and then show how Khronos APIs make it a reality. Our technology powers everything from the initial CAD design and simulation using OpenGL and OpenCL, to the in-car entertainment and communications using OpenSL ES, OpenMAX, and OpenVX, to its starring role in a mobile game using WebGL and WebCL.

Until Linux distributions are more supportive of low-level users it will never be the future of gaming. The same roadblocks that existed the first time I used a Linux dist 10 years ago still exist today and show no signs of being addressed.

I'll wait a month and if no serious issues are ongoing I'll upgrade. Otherwise I'll wait a bit longer. I will certainly get in before the year is over though.

If you're on Win7, you stay on Win7 (your next OS probably is going to be some Linux distribution).
If you're already on 8.1, you can just as well "upgrade".

XP was good (and u can play a lot of games in there), ported to 7 because new machine and new drivers.
Currently dualbooting so the Win partition is only for games (3/4 of my desktop is full of icon of installed games xd) and for the real use of a computer i use Arch :P.

All new games won't support XP at all. It's an archaic OS.

Out of curiosity I ran the Windows 8.1 Upgrade Assistant on my Windows 7 PC and it told me that a large number of my games won't work. It also appears that I will probably have to reinstall most of my software. This might not happen for those running 8/8.1 but since 10 is such a drastic difference from 7 it appears that the "upgrade" will actually wipe out most of what you have installed on your system. I'm most definitely waiting until probably next year so they can get a majority of any as yet undiscovered bugs fixed.

Is there an article somewhere on the web where they made a proper tryout for windows 10 and I can read about all the pros and cons about? All I can find is small time info about 1 or 2 things, but nothing about the big picture.

I'm thinking about installing it, but not sure.
