I'd have to say my 2 favorite anime's are Vandread and Rosario + Vampire, I'd recommend checking them out.

Probably you will not see this, but here's some suggestions:
-Cowboy Beebop
-Kino's Journey
-Eden of The East
-Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagan

Cowboy Bebop, Ghost in the Shell, Trigun, Hellsing, Durarara, Death Note for the ordinary ones that would be recommended. I also liked Welcome to the NHK! It's quite interesting and easy to relate to. Check it out!

Also Steins;Gate is quite weird but interesting! I need to watch some more of it!
