Really, having a family pretty much killed both my gaming and social life. But I'm still interested in games, play them a little occasionally and follow deals on SG.

I've gone through a lot of different ones but now mostly Skype/TS3
Overall though, depending what I'm doing/with who I use Skype, TS3, Ventrilo, In game chat, and one time I've done mumble.

Mumble with one group of my friends and Teamspeak with the same friend group + another group. Depends on the game and who I'm playing it with!
I've always had trouble with Skype and the quality wasn't great and I had lag but I've found TS to have a little lag and Mumble to be the best in those terms. TS is great for being able to change volume on a person by person basis. But mumble is slightly better quality.
Also, I have tried curse once, it was okay.

Curse voice is great. I have a few friends with really bad internet and curse voice has excellent quality and dedicated servers. I actually think it sounds better than Skype.

Well, we used to be around 15 in a call that play World of Warcraft all, so were renting a monthly guild Ventrilo, share the pay between us. Now we're like, down to 5 people only which Skype is enough to hold out.

Exactly. We were doing mostly battleground if many or Arena with seperated groups, so it was a hassle when it happened on Skype. ^^

There's been an Uprising of game voice chatting recently. So many options I hardly know which ones are really worth using and which ones I should just dump. So this thread has been born. I've selected a few voice chatting software that are made for gaming (or oftenly used for such), and I'd love it if you'd tell me which ones you use (if any)!
