I know on twitter they confirmed that Re:Call and The Forest Cathedral will eventually be restocked for buyers that purchased the bundle before a certain point.. but it wouldn't surprise me if there was some kind of miscommunication between their social media team and internally so it's possible that it was never actually planned for them to restock. Tends to happen pretty often in situations like this.
If true, that would explain why they added more games to the bundle rather than restocking those games..

Did you buy the bundle before they announced that they will replace these games?
In other words, did they add these Epic keys for all purchases, or just for those that purchased the bundle before 2023-05-13 and got out of stock message when trying to claim their keys?

I bought the bundle on 5/9. I still have The Forest Cathedral listed in my steam keys section (still out of stock of course). I was able to get RE:CALL before it ran out of stock. Then below all the games, I now have an extra "Epic Games Store" section that has keys for The Forest Cathedral and RE:CALL.

Sorry to barge in, I got the bundle a couple of hours after launch, missed the redeeming window and I've been waiting for them to restock. I've just checked and there are only Steam keys for these 3 titles in my bundle page, all give the same error "Keys are temporarily exhausted for this product". Not sure what's going on.

I hope this is just an apology for Steam keys taking so long, and they don’t actually think an epic key is an acceptable replacement for a Steam key.

Got a reply from them saying that you forfeit your Steam key if you activate the DRM-free link or reveal the Epic key. So don't think it's an apology or a replacement, yet.
Since they haven't put this information anywhere I think they hope people will just reveal the new keys so they have fewer users entitled to actual Steam keys, in case they don't get enough keys again.

Asked them if they have actually posted that info anywhere, so buyers don't just rush in to redeem considering their reputation on "out of Stock" keys. And if they really thought that an Epic key for the game would a proper replacement for a Steam key.
Then got this, alongside a bunch of generic "we thanks you for your patience in this matter blablablabla..."
"The Epic keys for this bundle are purely a bonus that our team worked to obtain from our partners, as they understand the delay in obtaining Steam keys is frustrating, and it has been a long time. Revealing and redeeming the Epic keys will have no impact on the Steam keys, should we receive them moving forward."
So you should be in the clear, if what I got this time was true.

I felt relatively lucky that I'm not much nterested in either it or The Forest Cathedral, until I reached the bottom of the purchase page and realized that RE:CALL too.
(Just recently I decided it's time to finally activate keys rather than hoard them as I did for too long - and shit like this is a good reason to never wait anymore)

has anyone tried asking for a refund or partial refund and gotten any results? i'm owed a key for we should talk and it's kinda ridiculous that it's taking so long. it should be a very simple thing to do for a company like humble/ign.

When I asked they offered to revoke all the other keys and give me a full refund. Not ideal as I'd already done giveaways.
Guess if nothing else it's a timely reminder for people planning to buy Humble Choice that Humble are the worst.
