if you still didn't receive it, try key resender. if it doesn't help, it most probably means you entered wrong e-mail address. so contact support.

Awesome, only got about four of the games and I've been looking forward to Hotline Miami.

had the $1 tier already, but with such a low BTA cost was easy to get the DRM-free copies as well

ikr? too bad i didn't know humble bundle back then.:(

Are they individual keys for each game in this Team17 bundle, or are they grouped?
Comment has been collapsed.
I asked my brother earlier what the new HB was and he said the Team 17 one, which we both already have. I was kind of glad to see it again because Worms Armageddon for $1 is well worth it. Then I realised...
Still, it's a great game. Haven't played any of the others.

Another bundle, another disappointment.
I'm starting to get the feeling this is just an excuse to test the waters on new pricing models. Since it's a unique thing and it only lasts a day, it doesn't hurt their reputation as much as if they'd stuck us with one of these for a full two weeks.
Hopefully, if I'm right, if they're saving the best/cheapest ones for the end so that they don't overshadow these more expensive/crappier ones. So they can see how the market reacts to in both directions to maximize sales/profits and hence possibly convince large publishers.
Or maybe I'm too optimistic and they're just seeing how much crap they can get away with.

Hmm, I guess that's possible. They could be seeing what mid and high level tier prices get the best results. I'm not sure how reliable the results will be though unless they have a good way of controlling for all the other factors (e.g., number of games per tier, retail value of games per tier). But yeah, maybe these two weeks are a test of some sort. Hopefully there are some better bundles coming later. The two I've liked so far were re-bundles (and I bought both the first time around), and the non-repeats weren't that great IMO. We'll see soon enough what's coming down the road, I guess.

Well, you cannot really hope to control most factors outside of a laboratory.
That's why for example, medical protocols are so complex and still require a ton of after the fact statistical analysis. You also cannot really have a true control group either because you still have to at least guarantee standard treatment to the "control" group who isn't testing the new treatment.
Likewise, a business still has to make profit to stay afloat, so they cannot spend more than they expect to get back.
This new bundle seems to further prove my idea. Every daily bundle has done things differently. Even the two rebundles were different. The first one was one of their best, and made better slightly better. It increased attention on the dailies without necessarily raising expectations. Then the second re-bundle was both better and worse in different ways: it added one new game, but also raised the price.
Edit: I just realized that they also sort of have a control group now: Humble Store. Some of the stuff from the dailies has also been on sale in the store throughout this.

Agreed, which is kind of my point. If they're running an experiment, it doesn't seem to be well-controlled, so the results they get from it may not be as reliable as they hope. It may give them what they're looking for, but it's not exactly easy to say "pricing scheme A works better than B" when A's bundle had different games from B's bundle, or one was a repeat and the other wasn't, or one didn't have a game in the $1 tier and the other did, or... I'm certainly not blaming them for trying something different and maybe looking at a better way to make or maintain a profit. I still like most of the regular 2-week Humble game bundles. I'm just saying the results of this experiment, if that's what it is, probably won't be very solid and could be reasonably argued against given all the various factors involved.

And it's still only $3.99 on the HB store. The dumb thing is that, ignoring people who are too dumb to check before they buy, anyone who only wants one copy will just go to the store. The only thing that people will buy from the "bundle" are the $8+ 4-packs, so the average price will just keep rising until it's effectively the same price as that for the 4-pack.

Yeah, I don't understand what's the point of this "bundle".

The worst part is that if I'm not wrong the $2.00 sale of Hammerwatch should be available for today too. It said 48 hours including today.

Like I said, two good bundles so far and both of those were re-bundles (Deep Silver and Indie 8)

Lol at you. If you have no concept of how anything works, it's better to keep quiet.
Humble doesn't decide what bundles to sell, they decide which ones they would like, approach developers and then have to agree terms for the price/tier.
You are stupidly talking as if Humble can simply take any game they want, then tell the developer their terms. Completely and utterly wrong, sorry.

you are stupidly talking that humble bundle HAD to have this "bundle", its their site and they decide what goes on it, indie developers would usually give their right arms for their game to end in humble bundle on any terms and they could have easily found some other games and developers if hammerwatch dev wouldnt do it under their terms
Comment has been collapsed.
I am not saying that they HAD to have it. They can only have what developers ALLOW them to have.
Many developers would also give their right arm NOT to have their game in a humble bundle due to the fact they will make very, very little.
Anyway, I think we can both agree that this particular one is crap. I'm not arguing against that.
Comment has been collapsed.
i dont know about that, good indie bundles usually raise at least a few hundred thousand dollars for developers from people who would otherwise pirate the game or not play it at all, it is good publicity and the money isnt bad when the games included are good
Comment has been collapsed.
Guess what, you're both right. The devs set the price, but ultimately it was Humble Bundle's decision whether to run the bundle or not. So both needed each other to completely screw this bundle up. It was a catastrophe on two fronts.

$4 in the store. It's almost $7 for one copy of Hammerwatch in he bundle.

So what you think of it?
Really, I don't know if it all will be repeats or something new there at some point. Hope for new too...
The Humble Daily Bundle: Dungeons is an exercise in subterranean athleticism or a preference for the nocturnal. Either one, doesn’t matter to us, it’s dungeons! Pay what you want for Paper Sorcerer, beat the average to also get Legend of Grimrock, and contribute $10 or more for everything plus Desktop Dungeons.
