Won and tried it. There was like 10 games opened, but I had to wait 2-3 minutes till a new one opened, 2vs2 map, 1 player quit after a few minutes and after about 15 minutes another one quit.

Tutorial consists out of 3 videos which explain basics, but nothing about how to fight with them, apparently there's a tech tree which I noticed late in the game and even then I really didn't know what I was doing, had a veichle and grunt factory, sometimes my guys won, sometimes the other team won and I wouldn't know what made the difference since nobody tells you which unit is best for what or has some distinction (for example jeeps and apc against infantry in Red Alert). Buildings are very samey so you don't really know what each one does (they're all greyish pile of blocks and lights, nothing to indicate what they do, for example barracks look very much as same as vehicle factory, I think that's all a big con on the design.

All in all, this is a very generic RTS with some poor graphic design choices, supplies system looks like Company of heroes, while units and such is a bland mixture in which nothing is indicated by design language. I liked the that some points were above lava areas so you cannot stand on them for too long and the cover system is good in theory, but it just makes you micromanage each unit and more than often they don't listen to you.

To my surprise...I actually won. I didn't even win a game with just 94 entries, but I can win a game when there are 18,533 entries o_o

Then again, 5000 copies go a long way ^^

Won it, tried a few games on it, very bad support for people who aren't up to date with RTS games (last I played was Age of Empires II and Starcraft a long time ago)...

Lack of tutorials with the beta is really a let down... Especially with all the customizable options (think along the lines of CoD style perks, but for each unit type, and they are all different perks.)

Easy bot 1v1 rushed me by the time I was starting to build at some of the resource collection spots and a barracks and a small army (maybe 1/5 the size of the army they rushed with) my second play through. first play through I was the alien race, and couldn't even figure out how to build the basic structures to allow more units and got smashed... >_>
