I suggest you guys with messy desktops download Stardock Fences. Double click twice on desktop and your icons disappear. Double click again and they reappear. :D

Not only my desktop is messy, my Chrome is also messy! I have windows 2 like this on my computer and ~4 more on my server that I can remote desktop in anytime I want. I kinda use it like a desktop that I can take everywhere. Like, I can borrow my friend's laptop and Remote Desktop so I leave stuffs open there.

My desktop has not so many icons because I have reinstalled Windows recently, but if you look at all the open windows, you will agree, this is a real mess.
Actually I never use desktop to launch programs or store files, so until today I didn't ever know which icons I have.
But the messiest thing on my PC is my Firefox. Currently I have 687 tabs open, it will just crash if I will try to open the preview mode to make a screenshot. No other browser can withstand my habits.

I hate having a messy desktop so the only icons I have are the recycling bin and a folder which contains all the shortcuts/icons I generally would have on my desktop.

Mine couldn't be much cleaner, haha!
