Whats your childhood game soundtrack?

Avernum I, II, III (reeeaallly old school game.)

Did you know that Avernum is actually a remake of Exile? I remember downloading a demo for one of them when I first got internet as a kid.

And hm, best soundtrack? That's a hard one.
Chaos Gate had an excellent soundtrack
as did Curse of Monkey Island
and Journey to Silius
And here is one that I was recently reminded of, that's Rama

As much as Final Fantasy 6 is my favorite game of all time, I have to give the soundtrack nod to the game that makes better use of its music.

IK+ / 1988 a game me and my brother played a lot on our Amiga.

Zak mc Kracken - intro tune starts at 1:52

And this was an intro by a gamecracking group called Angels. I sometimes just played the intro in the background while doing something else. I loved that tune. It originally came from a Commodore 64 game called Comic Bakery.

And Spaceballs - State of the Art I consider the best ever Amiga demo. Same as with the Angels intro, I just left it running while doing homework. Cheesy early 90s tunes, which is kinda odd because I was more into metal and rock those days.

Jeremy Soule's Elder Scrolls and Guild Wars soundtracks really got me into video game music!

Sadly, the only truly memorable soundtracks I remember are from 2003 - 2005. When I first played Rome TW I just watched the menu for like 5 minutes - that impressed I was of it.
