Bundle "Untold Tales Treasures - 30 for 30": https://store.steampowered.com/bundle/42192/Untold_Tales_Treasures__30_for_30/ (https://steamdb.info/bundle/42192/).

Bundle was for about 23 hours (see at: https://steamdb.info/bundle/42192/#history) available as "Complete the Set" (https://store.steampowered.com/news/group/41232016/view/4179984470688539347) but now sadly it is again 'Must Purchase Together" :(

Getting it via Steam would link every game to your account upon purchase. Buying it as a bundle allows you to cherry pick the titles you want, leaving the rest of the keys for giveaways or trades.

Same. Far too many games here I don't want, so it's not worth me buying it this way.

I assume you could do the EA-collection trick to buy the bundle: https://www.steamgifts.com/discussion/5ot4Z/new-ea-bundles-on-steam-check-out-the-workaround-if-you-own-any-game-in-the-bundles

  • "Permanently delete" games from your Steam account
  • Buy the bundle as a gift, from a second Steam account to your main account
  • Do not accept the gift yet
  • Restore the deleted games back to your account
  • Accept the gift

You get an error when you try to purchase with your own account, or at least it gave an error when I tried it a while back with another pack.

I confirm, it is working

Unfortunately, instead of making it a bundle they made it as a Package.

Yet another idiotic business model to piss on your existing customers and teach them, not to buy their games in the future, unless in a bundle like this one.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

honestly I don't get why steam doesn't let people who own part of it buy anyways... just have it at a set price...
eg the package is $40... whether you own none, one, or 95% of the games.

always dumb to tell people no... you can't buy this digital product because you bought something in the past.

Steam/Valve is only to blame for giving sellers too much choices. Publishers too ignorant to use bundle options properly aren't Steam's fault.

2 on wishlist, 11 owned, could have been interesting if it was a "complete the set" bundle...

I have 19 of these, missing 11, I'll get them for cheaper in other places, or not get them at all.

Ugh, just own 1 of these and can't buy it. Great deal if they can switch it to bundle and not package.

This should have been a complete the set bundle. I wonder if contacting the publisher might convince them to change the type of bundle, sometimes they simply don't know that players who own some of the games are prevented from buying, since the way it works is kinda counter-intuitive.

To be fair, if you've been buying bundles, then that's the cheapest way to get them.
There are only 5 I don't own that I want, and I know that it's going to be bundles (Fanatical or HB) that I'll get them in eventually.

A few people including myself, have asked the publisher to change it to "Complete the Set" and surprisingly they did change it but...

ATTENTION The bundle was changed from "Must Purchase Together" to "Complete the Set" but only until Saturday, 19:00 CEST (22nd of June)
https://store.steampowered.com/news/group/41232016/view/4179984470688539347

If you are on the fence about it, just buy it and decide later on if you want it or not.
You have 14days to think about it for a refund, given that you don't play any of the games for more than 2hours.

Think of it as a fanatical bundle that each game averages cost $1, would you buy it?
Some games seem to be worth $0.50 while others up to $2.50 and more, so on average I think it's good value for the money.

OP Please edit and put the ATTENTION information, so people can see it in time

Keep in mind though, if you request a refund, they will refund and remove the entire bundle that was purchased in the transaction.

Yes it's a given but it's good of you to point it out.
You can't refund individual games with this purchase, it is one transaction, so either you keep the bundle or you don't.

Not that easy if you haven't prepared anything for it.
First off, user script for generating tables: https://github.com/Laurvin/SteamGifts-GA-Table-Creator
Then check a bundle chart to see from which source sensualshakti gets the other information (based on app ID though).
Ratings and platforms aren't linked, but I don't think she enters those manually, probably an own script.

Compared to the previous time this bundle was available, these games were removed:

Bang-On Balls: Chronicles
Boti: Byteland Overclocked
Everdream Valley
Frozenheim
Ready, Steady, Ship!

And these games were added:

Arboria
Backfirewall_
Baggage Inspector
Metamorphosis
Robonauts
