as title says. share yours, if you really need to/you want to sponsor.

i'll use this space below like an "ad placement" for SG things. i can lend it, tho, if you need it for something you might find important to share. fo' free :D

as per the first "ad placement" was thinking that a lot of us are talking about depression related things, so would be nice if you'd try this product:

"acting" like you feel better,

will actually help you to feel better

you can also cast your vote later ;D

"acting" like you feel better,
will actually help you to feel better

So we went to this Lindsey Stirling concert the other day. And midway through the show she talked for a couple minutes.
This was almost exactly what she said.

i remember some test with people holding a pen in mouth to simulate smiling, but i cant remember if it was realy scientific... it was about when u smile by yourself you get more positiv and when u look sad by yourself you get more down...

It's fascinating that the brain is so intelligent and such but can be in fact so easily tricked.

There is this other phrase that reminds me of... when I was a drunk... trying to getting sober. People used to tell me in recovery:

"Fake it 'til you make it." I did fake it for a long time... and I still do at times. Maybe I am just a great actor. We are all insane here... :D

I'm acting like I'm feeling better - and it will work. I will make it happen with no reservations. Forcing myself to smile helps too.

I heared those words too and I can tell that they work ! (or at least they've been for the 10 last years...)

It is inspiring to read about! Congrats to you as well - if it helped you out of a similar kind of situation, or any type of thing.

I see a bass guitar too! I have been playing for half my life now plus a few years, but I love six string basses the best. Some conditions limit me these days, but I try to play a little when I have a better day that works. ^_^

Playing music helps to keep a good morale ! At the moment I don't have much time to play cause I have a 9 month kid to watch after but I take him on my knees and let him play with my bass and the piano. I'm a bit disappointed that he prefers the latter but I'm sure it'll change with time :)

playing music is awesome! it really helps! I took only two years of guitar lessons and I can't play that much due to right arm health problems, but I still keep in my bedroom my two guitars and when I can I always try and play something, it's always great even if I'm not by far a good musician and I've never been one =P
I'm with the guitar/bass team too, although I like the piano a lot but it seems so complicated to me ahah :)) When I attend concerts I always pay attention to bass and guitars more than everything else, even if they play folk metal or symphonic things with the keyboards in the foreground (and we Italians love symphonic things too much xD)
I'm limited too as I said, like both of you due to different issues we all have, but it's for sure a good medicine playing music <3
