What's your take on this bundle?
Seems like an attractive bundle, but you would have thought that they would have put at least a few Ukrainian video games in there.
At best, there's a comic book about a prominent Ukranian revolutionary, and at worst you would more likely to notice games from Poland or even from RUSSIA(Metro Exodus) of all places.

I was just thinking how the third book was about Russian isolationism even when it harms the population, as long as it keeps them in control. It's uncomfortable to see it back through the ongoing Russian propaganda about the "non-invasion".

i´m sorry to heat that... you can still support refugees by spending directly to the charitable organization you would like to support. and while you are not gaining games for it: you might get taxes back. at least in germany the spend money dosnt count towards the income and you get the difference back^^ (dont know if this also works in russia)

EDIT: I see on the "buy" page that it states "Non-activated key will expire on April 25th" which does seem much more specific and seems to confirm that an unredeemed Steam key will be worthless after it expires.
Does anyone know if "Gloria Victis will expire on April 25th, 2022" means that the Steam key will no longer be valid to be redeemed after that date (if you don't redeem it before then)?
I ask this because this developer has given away Steam keys for this game in the past, and explicitly stated that "all non-activated keys will expire (approximately) 48 hours after the end of the giveaway (scheduled end or depletion of the key pool, in an effort to stymie resellers)"
Based on this and the expire warning on the Humble Page makes me think this developer does not want unused Steam keys to be floating around for long.

yep, the dev probably wants to make sure that someone cant just buy a ton of those bundles and then keep selling his game for cheap. If the keys get deactivated rather quickly it really only works for people that want to activate it themselves mostly

I bought it only to support humanitarian aid and people in a hell of war.
But there will be many GA from this bundle in future from me as I own most of it already (thx for a info that Gloria Victis will expire on April 25th, 2022 - I did not know and probably would make GA later as I am too slow with GAs ;) ).
It is also nice to see how much it was collected already for this an other initiatives. But needs are huge indeed . It is sad how people can make hell on earth for themselves only because one sick man decided to realise his ideas/ambitions.
If it would not be a charity bundle:
I already had most of it and there are no thing left that I would like badly (especially for the price) = I would not buy if not charity. But If I would take aside this fact, it is great bundle and great deal with many good games. Overall/total price is not low, but it is very low "per game" if you consider how big this pack is.

I always have had some kind of trouble understanding all these region locks. So I prefer to make a dumb question, than be dumb forever.
Thus, as I understand it, taking as example Kerbal Space Program, if you're in China, you get a key for China only, but everyone else gets a worldwide key that's redeemeable everywhere including China, right?

I think that when there is a region-lock, for example here China, then people who live in China get a key only redeemable in China, and everyone else get a key redeemable in all countries except China.

Humble claims the key from outside China "may not be" redeemable in China, but you're right they're not certain.

Perhaps you can find your answer here, "Why are the region locks from the "Create a gift link" pop-up different than the ones mentioned on the SteamGifts thread corresponding to that bundle?".
In short:
- A gift link notification means "these countries receive region locked keys". It does not mean "the key you receive is not redeemable in these countries", as Humble Bundle claims.
- Outside the common regions that usually receive locked keys (LATAM, RU/CIS, Asia), the rest of the world receive a WW key = worldwide key redeemable anywhere including locked regions (we just call it ROW = rest of the world) that normally does not have any restrictions, except from special cases in which the publisher decides to specifically exclude certain countries from purchasing / redeeming it (like it happened now with several games that have Russia and Belarus excluded).
Let me know if you have other things unclear, I'm happy to explain as much as I can.

That does appear to be the case. The worldwide key is redeemable everywhere, including China. Also, the game appears to be exactly the same for the WW key and the China key, so there is no censorship. It's not clear why they have a China-specific key other than maybe to have the ability to make a China specific version at some future date (and force everyone who has the game based on the China key to use that version).
Generally, region locks for Steam keys allow for two different things, one is having different versions of games in different regions (generally for censorship reasons) and the other is to allow different pricing in different regions without allowing you to buy the Steam key in a region where the price is $0.98 and sell it in a region where the cost of the game is $11.54, making a huge profit.
Not all games do this... for instance Kerbal is $0.98 in Argentina, but costs $11.54 in Israel for the same Steam key that is redeemable in both countries. I don't know how easy it is to buy a Steam key for Kerbal in Argentina, but if you did, you might be able to make a 11x+ profit by selling it in Israel (although I'm sure it's not that simple).
I'm guessing if you bought this game directly on Steam (where they don't give you a key) you would not be able to gift it to another region where the price is much higher, although I don't know how this works.

They can't, at least not in Russia and Belarus. And if they use VPNs, they'd have to pay the foreign prices and in foreign currency which would render the act of reselling them pretty much useless.

to be fair, i dont think russians ever bought bundles in their own currency, their money isnt worth anything. they have always bought with VPN's so they can sell keys for actual money in different countries

For Japanese user, "Shing!" key is not listed in key list.
I confirmed other JP user didn't get any key of "Shing!" too.
