Do you just love to dig through the trash?
Don't know about the bikini girls...it just seemed appropriate given the cheesiness of a sharknado and since it was right on the water, I figured that it sucked up a bunch of beach-going bikini girls...and for no explicable reason, Kim Jong Il. :D
The crazy-looking multi-chin guy is some kind of meme guy that has his own site. A transparent background png of the dude showed up when I was searching for other stuff, and I thought that it was so hilarious that it had to go in here somewhere. As things got progressively weirder toward the end, I found a good place for him. :D

Fantastic game:))
How long did it take to create this? I bet like hours...

Yeah, a few hours. It takes some planning. I had to go through all of my available keys, put together a spreadsheet on what I planned to include, then search for cool tornado graphics, design the basic pptx deck/flow, go back and find a bunch of clip art to create all of the little hidden things, update the deck, then create all of the GAs, updating the spreadsheet with the appropriate links, then go back to the deck and add the links for the GAs to all of the objects in the deck (knowing up front that I had a matching number because, well, planning :D ), then it got handed off to Dys to convert the whole thing into Articulate so that we could prevent (most) cheating. There was some testing in there, too. Oh, and when I was creating the GAs, I needed to schedule a start and end date around when I thought that I could get the work wrapped up so that I'd also have time to create the discussion post.
So yeah, no time at all. π€£π€
Glad that you had a good time -- that's kind of the whole point. And I don't mind spending time on things that people actually enjoy. ππ

Thanks again, was entertaining to see Lisa Simpsons there lol

Hey, there's still like 6 days left! You're really close to level 3. Pick up some cheap GogoBundle keys and you could be level three within a day or two!

Ha, no worries. If I were that sensitive, I'd have run away crying from this place over undeserved blacklists and unregistered gifts a long time ago. π πππ

I had a strange issue with Firefox: I couldn't scroll the new windows that popped out, I don't know why... So, as I couldn't thank you in the GAs pages, I will do just here.

That's right, people! There is a brand new Trash Tornado on the horizon, and it's headed RIGHT TOWARD YOU! Brace yourself for impact and get ready to dig through the swirling morass of junk!
You'll navigate this mess via a slide deck (originally created in Powerpoint and converted to Articulate) where you click on objects of interest to discover the GAs. There are all kinds of super-fun chaos in here, and the tornado and its aftermath feature all sorts of unexpected characters, including (but not limited to): Deadpool, Putin, Trump, The Kool-Aid Guy, Elton John, goats, 'possums, Kanye West's disembodied head, Lisa Simpson, W., Harry Potter, UFOs, the Mad Maxmobile, and a bucket of KFC! If it looks out of place, be sure to click on it! The beginning will be obvious, but things get a bit...messy toward the end.
Everyone who has given at least something (level 1+) is welcome to pick through the trash. There are 86 GAs (164 keys) throughout the tornado for you to discover. Also, hidden among these bits are 12 additional GAs (so make that 176 keys) that are either above-average-quality bundled games or the ever-so-rare non-bundled games (5 of these)! Now you'll need to be level 3 to access these, but hey, that's still a pretty low bar, so no complaining if you don't qualify. You can make level 3 in 48 hours with a tiny amount of work. Give to live, baby, give to live. π
Ok, enough proselytizing...go face the tornado and DIG THROUGH THE TRASH!
Good luck!
P.S. The tornado runs through October 16th in the evening (Central US time)
A thousand, thousand thank-yous to Dys, who spent personal time helping me get this into Articulate (because Dys has a subscription π). Doing so did degrade the graphic quality from compression, but allowed us to present this in a way that prevents cheating via extracting all of the URLs (this happened during the first Junk Drawer Extravaganzaβ’). Also, please stick with Firefox or Chrome for this event...we've found issues with the Articulate client and links in Edge (which is too bad, because I really like Edge). Anyway, Dys probably spent a good hour or two of time helping convert, test, convert, test...and finally deploy this thing. So everyone send some love Dys' way, because it's well-deserved.
