Almost Rhythm Heaven... or not?

View Results
[T1] Paying that much for these 2 games is a real Disaster for my bank account, but I'll still do it.
[T2] I'm trying to Escape from overpaying for T3. This will do though.
[T3] All Straight Roads leads to this tier. Purchasing a lower one simply doesn't make sense.
[Have] These games Fell Soundly into my Steam library, I don't even remember when I got them.
[Skip] I need a Rhythm Doctor, otherwise who is going to cure me?
[Expensive] Humble's Price Hazard strikes again. For half the price, I wouldn't have second thoughts about getting it, but the current price is outrageous.

Thank you for the tread!

8euros for two games...Bruh at this rate Tier1 is soon gonna be more expensive than a month of humble choice without coupons.

Historical low is 12€, if it's too expensive then just wait.
It isn't exactly a bad thing that bundles try to move past the "any shit is good as long as it's cheap and there's a lot of it" period.

Humble was never IndieGala or Fanatical with their dollar bundles though. They were never really in the "quantity over quality" game. In the days when they would bundle like 4indies for 1$ I discovered many fun, noteworthy games.

I agree, games were generally good - but people wishing for 4 GOOD and preferably AAA games for $1 compared to 2/3 of historical low prices is asking for more for cheaper while literally not playing the games. Most of us hoarded years or decades' worth of games from those ridiculously cheap bundles. Still wishing for more as cheap as possible and finding that - in many cases - 2-3€ being "too much" for a game just enforces that people want games to have games, not having a good game for a good price.

$1 for 4 games was pervertedly cheap even then, it only became more unlikely as the time went on and the grey market ate the fun.
Back in the day when i was a university student in Hungary, I could buy 3-5 $1 bundles for the price of a relatively good hot food or chinese for lunch.

It's unsustainable, unless we have dozens of studios with impostor syndrome and more need for attention than money to exist. If an eastern european student finds the system almost too good, then I don't see how it can exist globally with the western world's general income. It was a balloon that popped, like how some corporations spread exponentially because they even take losses to get bigger, then realize that they can't live while generating only a loss.

Oh sure I totally understand it's unsustainable. People back then didn't knew how good they had it-I was just happy with indies alone but many wanted AAA at those prices as well. Though sometimes you could even get AAA bundles at those prices. Golden age of bundles for us customers.

Grey market is one factor for sure but there's also easier options these days to make a $ as well. Being on a renting service like GamePass or being a freebie on EGS. I know bundles are never coming back to how they were in the past.

Unfortunately Beat Saber and Synth Riders have ruined all other rhythm games for me.

+1, and an additional +1 for putting respect on Synth Riders. Two of the best rhythm games out there!

i wishlisted 4 games: Beat Hazard 3, Trombone Champ, Soundfall and No Straigh Roads but it is quite expensive for only those games so it is a skip for me

Which games support an "open mic" feature like Beat Hazard? Nobody stores MP3 files anymore...

And speaking about Beat Hazard, is 3 really that different from 2? I don't think there is much value in this bundle.

You're right people store FLAC's now. Not zoomers ofc but millennials who are more into music haven't forgotten the value of ownership(and quality above shitty streaming services helps)

The ROW key for No Straight Roads is not actually redeemable worldwide. It has a long list of country restrictions, so it's a "fake" ROW if you so want.
Thank you for the list!

The bot(s) will give such feedback through Steam chat or Group chat depending on how you've set them up. Personally I'm using the group chat variant but other options do exist.

With prices like this it's cheaper to buy directly from steam. Wallet is safe for now

Trombone Champ is fun for the first 2 hours, then you'll delete it and probably never play it again.

Maybe I'm too greedy but I feel like it's a rather expensive bundle for only 7 games.
