Hello. I played everything iwon so far (I was lucky or maybe unlucky to only win 9 things in about 4-5 years of being here), some are still on my backlog to play furthermore.
However, i'll join by making 3 giveaways of some cheap but nice games.
Comment has been collapsed.
Heh, i played that one too actually.
My biggest dislike was that... well, you were killing cats. I love cats.
I made the giveaways, they are two small games, but cute and fun! Will obviously come with better stuff in the future.
Comment has been collapsed.
Yes :( I also dislike that. Other than that, one group member used it as introduction play and couldn't be more clear about the game; and we had a group giveaway of Bad Rats that almost got the winner kicked out for not playing it enough. So it has quite the status here. ^^

I just added 7 more giveaways meanwhile :) Hope you guys will enjoy them,

Hi CryoSerus, we are currently in the process of clearing out all our old join requests and I came across yours. I would like to know if you would still be interested to join the group?
If I won't get a reply in a week I will simply mark you as not interested to join on our list, but you would still be welcome to join once you have beaten the game :)

Hi DarkCrusnik! I saw your comment on my Steam profile, please comment here if you can, it's easier for me to keep track. ;) The screenshots are fine. The game should take ~4.5 hours, so I think your halfway there. Let me know once you've finished it. :)

If you don't mind me butting in, you have Yesterday that you've won about a year ago and haven't played. It's a really good point & click game, if you're into that kind of thing. Pretty short as well, so you can probably finish it rather quickly, and a story that will really surprise you.
I'd recommend playing that one
Comment has been collapsed.
i think the game doesnt have credits unless you clear the game, i think he wouldnt say no if i screenshoted the credits , whatever, its his call, im okay with anything he says

Do you have any stats on how successful the method has been so far? As in, how many of giveaways have actually been played within a month and how many haven't?
Also would be interesting to know if there was an improvement in percentage over time.
Just wondering because I saw someone (in another group's giveaway) claim he gave up on this group because all his giveaways went unplayed. My ratio hasn't been very high either, with the 2 first giveaways not played, one quite impressively played to 100%, and one who still has over 2 weeks to go. Only 3 giveaways isn't a big enough sample size, so I'm wondering what the general stats are
Comment has been collapsed.
Hi Rupti!
Looking at giveaways is not very insightful, once we kick a member we reject all their winnings (regardless how much they were played or not). If they haven't been selective enough, those will contain allot of cheap bundle games (that gain very few entries in our group). When these members get kicked, the urgency to play their remaining winnings within a month falls away for them. Now as for statistics we do have, looking at the 182 members who entered in the last 3 months (since 22-3-2017), the new entrance method seems very successful. Only 4 of them were kicked up until now (2.2%) in comparison to the 571 members who entered before that date (105 of them were kicked up until now (18.4%)).
I also like to mention that we have come to a point we have lost some very nice and also community respected people, and also those who played their games well in the past. Life can happen, unforeseen circumstances, a game they really just don't like, etc. Some of these members I still have whitelisted. What I want to say with that is that we'll never have a 100% guarantee all giveaways you create will get played within a month, but at least you know the member will get kicked and cannot join again before having given your game a decent try. That, in combination with the good working entrance conditions we have now, makes me confident that we are a good functioning and healthy group.
Comment has been collapsed.
Of course I'm not expecting a 100% guarantee, and even getting 1 in 3 played is waaaay better than what I get outside the group. Like I said, I was simply curious as to what the stats are.
Thanks for providing what info you could. It does seem pretty effective. Still would be nice to have a percentage of played giveaways if there's any way you can keep that info

It would! I hope you will enjoy Edna and Harvey: Harvey's New Eyes just as much as Edna & Harvey: The Breakout. Please let me know when you check back here once you've finished it. :)

Hi! :) I'd love an invite if at all possible! I do however work 60 hours upwards a week, and have a backlog of games to play that I've won, but I do fully intend on clearing them :D Time is a valuable commodity :)
Comment has been collapsed.
Well, I've completed a fair few games that I've won so far, although I still have a couple to get through, so, how about I do both? :D I have a long list of games to give away that I haven't gotten around to yet, so I can put one of those as a giveaway in the group, and I'll also start one of the games I haven't completed tonight now I've finished work :P Does that sound acceptable? :)
Comment has been collapsed.
Giveaway is up my dear and the link is in the thread on the page :D Many thanks for the invite <3 I look forward to being an active member of the group! :D

Hi, i would like to join your group because i like the idea of wins being played or at least tried out. IΒ΄ve won 8 games on sg and finished only one so far. So thereΒ΄s much to improve for myself. ThatΒ΄s the reason why iΒ΄ll do the first option and finish one of my unplayed wins. The game is PUNCH CLUB, it has achievements and iΒ΄ll take some screenshots as well. As soon as iΒ΄ve beaten it iΒ΄ll post here again and you can check my progress. But it may take a while.

Hi digge! :) Your very welcome to join, Punch Club will do fine. You understood well, hope to see you again soon with the message that you finished it. :)

I beated main story. Some of my opinions you can read in conversation with Lordxenon below. For ending: Well, I think that would be better if main character would not survived, but maybe if I had play Mask of Arcadius it would make more sense. I liked plot twist with Chigara, I'm happy that whole story wasn't so "sweet"
Comment has been collapsed.
I didn't finished it yet, but for now:
Story is nice, but there is too much about "how much we love our capitan". Battle mechanics seems to be simply, but I had hard time with beating 2nd fight. I had to lower difficulty level to beat it, but after next battle I rised it up again (I started to put Paladin in the middle of fleet with enabled "Draw Fire" - it's really helpful). I like that game has voice acting, but during fight it is bit annoying - every time when you click unit, it is saying something and after few fight you feel like some voices are drilling in your mind (especially Bianca's voice x.x). I also don't like that you must set some choices BEFORE you start a game - I didn't know any of character, so I had to do it totally random.
Overall game is pretty good, but I'm affected by Rance series and have high expectation for things like storyline, freedom of choices or H scenes. >.>
Well, there can be peoples, who will consider this screenshot as spoiler.
Comment has been collapsed.
Didn't you played Sunrider Mask of Arcadius before? You should have done it, then you would know about each character(and would understand why there's so much love in the air).
Never used Paladin's draw fire. Out of a few times, I never got hit in all my battles.
You know, that you can research how you want? It's very helpful(I redone most of the starting upgrades as they are most trash)!
I think you can disable the voices. The story voice was a bit off as reading english and you get japanese voice...
I don't know Rance, but telling from my perspective, you don't have any freedom in Sunrider LD(not even the side missions are optional).
My guess: When it comes to the LD part, you might have a hard time. :/
Comment has been collapsed.
No I didn't played Mask of Arcadius, I didn't even thought, that it can has prequel. :P
What, how it is even possible to not got single hit. I'm starting to think, that I'm very bad at combat in this game.
Yes, I know, but I didn't too much changes.
Well, only battle voices are annoying. Moreover my English is not so good and sice I know Japanese a bit (my Japanese is worse tan English, but still) it is sometims helpfull + there is possibilyty that I will learn new Japanese word. :P
Umm, I'm not surprised that you don't know Rance since it is eroge. Most players starting from playing Sengoku Rance (7th game in series) and so did I. I beat it 8 or more times (multiple routes and tons of minor choices), and started to play previous games because of story (other games are mostly without multiple routes etc). I really recommend to try Sengoku Rance (sadly not yet released officialy in english), I don't know someone who regreted it. :P
Comment has been collapsed.
You should. It explain a lot of the story happened before(why he fight, why all those character are on board etc.).
That's pretty easy. You kill nearly most things and the others things got intercepted(missiles) or don't hit at all(to some extend lasers vs. evasion but most times kinetics).
Did the domination thing even in the first battle(10+ units killed in one turn). :D Just because I did all of this, doesn't mean you are bad. I beated Sunrider MoA 3 times and therefore I know exactly what to do and what the mechanics are.
For me the battle voices of the english were the only thing I would have wanted. :D The japanese voicing of the story text was meh.
For me Sunrider LD is exact the example I made in this thread before: I know the gameplay and it was good but they have changed one core(the lasers got extrem nerfed) component so extrem, that I lost my faith in it. Luckily it become good again due the story and a bit through other gameplay things(mercs etc.), else I had regret having it. :/
I beat it 8 or more times (multiple routes and tons of minor choices),<<
In return this thing of VN happened. And I have to say, this is the reason why I hate VNs.
I even had to do a decision table to avoid trying the same thing over and over to get the same.
So if the game doesn't appeal to you(due lacking freedom/choices) in the main game, Return will bring this component.
Comment has been collapsed.
Well, I added MoA to "you need to play it soon" list. :D
I played Rance so many times because strategy part is great too and I wanted to beat it in all possible way. Also routes are almost new storyline, since it changes main heroin and antagonist or antagonist's motive. Sengoku rance is great mix of turn based strategy, rpg and visual novel.
I don't know, I will be trying all possible options in return, but good to know, that it gives more choices.
Comment has been collapsed.
You should play MoA even before continuing with LD. As I said, there's a lot of things happening which explain why LD even happen.
Ah okay. Thought it would be only a VN/something like that. RPg and strategy sound good. :D
I would describe Return as 999 ways to fail. :D If you like that stuff, you will enjoy it(but better to keep track what you had choosen to avoid the same choice trap).

http://imgur.com/a/uArXO There's a pic for my progression on the game that i got kicked for not playing, and im actually planning on finishing it soon. If there's anything else that i have to do to rejoin, just let me know!
Comment has been collapsed.
On two games there is still not enough progression. Let me link them both: Poly Bridge and One Piece Pirate Warriors 3. Also idling them is not considered playing them. I hope you will enjoy playing both games some more.
Comment has been collapsed.
For Poly Bridge something like this. At least 5 hours playtime. Other players did 100+ simulation runs in that time. For One Piece Pirate Warriors 3 something like this. Again at least 5 hours playtime. If you did play it 5 hours but are very bad, please provide a few screenshots and upload them too Steam.

A little question plz
How many people have been kicked since the creation of this group?
Comment has been collapsed.
Do you need to maintain a won/sent ratio within the group? Or can I apply to be a giveaway joiner only?
Comment has been collapsed.
Since my work schedule finally calmed down to only fourty hours a week, I'd really like to apply to join by playing Brothers: a Tale of Two Sons. Wanted to play it for a while, then I won it anyway, so I figure it is a good fit. I have kind of a crap achievement ratio from grinding for cards (though not really from games I have won) and honestly just rarely being online for some games due to solely saving them for entertainment in areas incapable of internet access, lol.
I'd like to take part anyway because this where I would like to give away some of my Humble Monthly games in the future, because they are rarely bad with few exceptions, just usually things I own or a genre I'm not interested in.
Side question, what relatively is the expected time to play a game, anyhow? I imagine you wouldn't enforce a long playtime on a game someone may beat long before.
Comment has been collapsed.
Hi Apocalypse1950! Your welcome to join, Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons will do fine as introduction play. Giving away Humble Bundle games too, let me know once you've played the game or when you'd like to create a giveaway. ^^ As for the side question, we mostly are taking the median main story time from this website, if available. If not, we fall back on various sources, like astats.nl or SteamSpy. We require winners to play at least half the play time within a month, up to five hours. More explanation is available in our members FAQ if you are interested. :)

I finished the game, and I'm happier for it. Nobody told me how depressing it would get...
It was great while it lasted though. Kind of reminded me of a more colorful three dimensional limbo. Even borrowed a whole boss fight.

Hello, I would like to join too please. Since I enter any GA only for games I want to play, this group seems great. As for the option, I currently have 5 keys for Blaze Rush I can make a group exclusive 2-days GA with. Does that sound good?
Comment has been collapsed.
Hello, i would love to join, i recently started to be picky about the games i'm joining giveaways for because i intend to play them all. I'm currently at games with any Playtime 98.0% (99/101)
there is actually only one game i know about that i didn't tried yet and that is my last win FIVE:Guardians of David. I'm downloading it right now so you can check my achievement progress in few hours or i could take some screenshots or both :)
Comment has been collapsed.
Hi Enkabard! Your welcome to join, FIVE: Guardians of David will do fine. Please check back here when you have finished the game.

Oh yeah i'm not surprised, i kinda rushed it. To be honest i didn't like the game at all. I'm not guy who leaves much reviews and don't like to be that overly critical, but i'm confused how come this one got decent ratings on steam. I had several gameplay bugs that made game almost unbearable and in some cases i'm not alone as i saw complains at forum. I would even have two hours less if one boss didn't bug one me and i didn't have to restart some parts over.

Hey guys, i like the idea of the group and would like to have a shot, but I think I probably have some play time in most if not all won games due to idle master. Could you tell me which games I shall play (or if it is more convenient for you I'm fine with creating a group giveaway)
Comment has been collapsed.
Hi joeremix! Your welcome to join. :) It is more convenient, however it's meant for when you have a nice game that you like to see someone else play within a month yourself; a gifter membership. So on that note, here is the list of games you can play as introduction:

Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath HD
Rocket Riot
We Are The Dwarves
Hue
Ninja Pizza Girl
Avadon 2: The Corruption

I'd love to join, I just finished Fran Bow (one of my 3 wins) today before reading this thread or I would have used that, but I can make a giveaway if needed!

Hi autumnrhey! Your welcome to join, you could also play Caffeine or Dark Souls III. You have one achievement on that last game, and 1 hour playtime. Not much for such an expensive game. Let me know. :)
Comment has been collapsed.
I tried playing Dark Souls but it didn't run as well as I thought it would on my current PC but I'm definitely planning on finishing it when I get a new one later this year :) I'm gonna try on this PC too but I can only handle so much lag lol, thanks!
Comment has been collapsed.
Ah, I understand. Please make sure to not join any group giveaways then that require such high system requirements. ;) Are you willing to try Caffeine? Otherwise feel free to pick a game from your Steam library that has achievements instead.
Comment has been collapsed.
I met the requirements it just didn't run well, but oh well at least I get to try it later. But I will avoid them anyway for now lol. And yes Caffeine just finished installing.
Comment has been collapsed.
Well I got about halfway (I think) done with Caffeine and there is a bug preventing me from progressing, lmao. I uploaded some screenshots to my steam profile of playing and of the bug. I looked it up and am supposed to be able to drop through the vent but its double caged so I can't .-. Even reinstalled and restarted the game, played through again, and got to that same point with the same outcome. Hope that is enough to get me an invite but if not I understand lol

This sounds simple, yet requires committent and dedication from members by filtering out games they like to play from all group giveaways and when won playing those within one month. In return members will get higher chances of winning games they want and creators will know their giveaways have a high chance of getting played. The group has more than 1000 members and over 25000 historical giveaways.
