It seems like when I remove a game from my hidden list, even if I sync ESGST, that game keeps displaying the category "hidden" (also removes the enter button if feature 2.28 is enabled).
Extension version 7.27.2 on latest Firefox
Comment has been collapsed.
Works fine for me, does it happen with every game?
Comment has been collapsed.
I's happening with The Mooseman and Carmageddon: Max Damage. I hid them when the Fanatical bundle was released because I wanted to buy it but then I didn't buy it anymore. I removed them from Steamgifts' hidden list a couple of weeks ago and after dozens syncs ESGST still believes that they are hidden.

It works, its working! except for
SCRIPT5007: SCRIPT5007: Unable to get property 'rgIgnoredApps' of undefined or null reference
0: Unable to get property 'rgIgnoredApps' of undefined or null reference
and this annoying thing that pops up even with steamtrades on whitelist

Where do you get this?

That looks related to Greasemonkey/Tampermonkey.

Seems there is an issue with latest update of ESGST.user.js
6.57 MB and Tampermonkey gives "cannot parse"
Using previous one works fine (2.12 MB)

For anyone reading this, v8.0.0 was a complete revamp of the script's structure, so there might be a few new bugs and unexpected behaviors. If you notice any, please report it so it can be fixed as soon as possible.
Comment has been collapsed.
I just updated it and it no longer works at all. When I navigate around steamgifts it's like I don't even have it installed.
Console log: https://pastebin.com/rZt68Yes

Seems like it may be noticeably faster now (always kinda dragged my browser down, and TamperMonkey would often crash after too many tabs were open for too long, but it was still too useful to ditch). Thank you for the revamp, hope the small bugs cropping up aren't too difficult to squash while keeping the speed.
Getting one bug where the discussion doesn't update/confirm after submitting a reply (happened twice now, out of two times posting). Haven't restarted the browser yet though, in case something just needs clearing in that way. I think I remember this bug happening quite a few versions back as well -- and I can't be certain it's not a conflict with another script either. (Edit post seems to work perfectly.)
Comment has been collapsed.
I'm getting that bug as well. Commenting to the discussion doesn't reload the page, and commenting to a comment in the discussion (with Multi-Reply) reloads the page, when it shouldn't. I'm looking into it.

Can you post the element ordering for Grid View from section 10/11 in the settings menu?
Comment has been collapsed.
While you are looking at gridview, reminder about the heading structure 😉
Comment has been collapsed.
What was the issue? I figured that now that the dragging system was moved to the settings menu those issues would have stopped.
Comment has been collapsed.
Before in heading the elements were split into 3 areas via two line breaks.

now everything is placed together and you can't drag them back before or after the line breaks.

Should be fixed. I used flex-wrap
so everything is wrapped through CSS without the need of line breaks.

It's not really a WIP. Most bugs have already been taken care of (this version has been in the works for the past 2-3 weeks), but it might indeed take a few versions before everything is working correctly, since some things probably went by unnoticed.

Some things have changed you will need to adapt your selectors accordingly
Comment has been collapsed.
It could be related to something that was added in v8.0.0. I'll have to see how it's appending styles to the page.
Comment has been collapsed.
For me on extension it was always before head so it never affected styles. I did notice extra margins and paddings in jquery ui classes that affect SG though, new give away page for example it changes slider and datepicker.
Comment has been collapsed.
v8.0.2 gets the style that is appended after the head and moves it to the beginning of the head, so those issues should be fixed, because Stylus adds its style elements after the head, right? Are you still having issues on v8.0.2?
Comment has been collapsed.
I never had issues with styles and stylus adds after body, google kicked stylish out of store so i don't use or know where it adds. only issues i seen were with the jquery ui classes which still applies to 8.0.2
Comment has been collapsed.
The problem is that since v8.0.0, the styles are managed a bit differently. I'm now using Webpack and the styles are loaded by it. I'm still trying to figure out how I can make it work as close to before as possible.
Comment has been collapsed.
Ok, I'm aware of that issue, I'm working on fixing it.

On another note... I can't find where to move around the elements... I don't remember if there was a switch to turn it of to prevent accidental moving or not and there's the new "Element Ordering" section now, but I have no idea how to go about moving a game category to where I want it to be (where it was before the update).
Comment has been collapsed.
Everything related to moving elements is in that section. Are you having problems moving the elements there?
Comment has been collapsed.
No, apparently I can move things in there, but as it's just a box with all possible elements, just from this I have no idea where the element is right now and where I'm moving it to.
Maybe if there was a example "screenshot", where all elements are shown and we can move it around on that example itself to get the desired result, that would help a lot.
EDIT: Also, these boxes should only show those elements that have been activated in the settings above. Right now it's showing all that are possible, I think.

Short summary until the next version:
Comment has been collapsed.
I've kept playing around with things... I was not aware that it was possible to move elements not only within the boxes they are already in but also from one box to another. That way I managed to move it to where I want it. But the size is off (from what it was before). It would be more pleasant to look at it the elements had the size of the other elements in the same "box". Or - as it was before - instead of a solid box just a colored frame with colored text inside with the frame being the size of the other frames in the same line. Also, the positioning is off to the right.
Here's what it looks right now:

I guess there's one box missing to sort element on the giveaway pages. Meaning, I cannot re-arrange elements on the page of a giveaway. While I have things set up on general pages as shown in screenshot 1 it's different for a giveaway's page as seen in screenshot 2. Before the update screenshot 2 shows where the giveaway winning chance was positioned at. Now I can't get it to there.
Comment has been collapsed.
There's no box missing, it's supposed to be the same for every page. It's a bug.

By the way, here's a suggestion: In the Change Log, add the feature number behind newly added features. I know, there's a "New" at new settings, but there's "New" on A LOT of settings and it seems these "New" stay for a very long time over several versions.
Right now I cannot find e.g. the new "Add a new feature: Visible Full Level".
Comment has been collapsed.
It stays marked as [NEW] until you either enable the feature or dismiss it (to dismiss it you have to click the [NEW] text).
You can also use the filter in the settings menu to search for features.
But that's a good suggestion, I'll add it to the next version.
Comment has been collapsed.
I didn't know about clicking the New to make it disappear.
How to get rid of the red star though? I've removed all the "New"s for this version but the stars indicating there's new features are staying.
Comment has been collapsed.
The stars indicate that there are [NEW] texts somewhere below them. It might be the case that the [NEW] text is inside of a disabled feature, therefore not visible normally. Do you see the star next to a feature that is disabled? If so, try to enable the feature to see if any of the sub-options have the [NEW] text.
Comment has been collapsed.
I managed to get rid of all the stars by going through all the sub-options to find the last "New"s that where left hidden.
Though it would kinda make sense if all sub-option "New"s would go away as well if the "New" from the options it's a sub-option of gets the "New" removed.
Comment has been collapsed.
That sounds like a hassle for me, perhaps I should add a button to dismiss everything in one click.

It's easier to say what works rather than what doesn't after update, in my case SteamTrades top bar is jumping like crazy, giveaway/discussion url detector always posts failed, I see a lot of stylish-related problems and more, downgraded to 7.27.2 and waiting for fixes, thanks.

It's easier to say what works rather than what doesn't after update
I think that's an exaggeration, I'd say the majority of the features are working well. Most of the problems reported here so far are style-related issues.
giveaway/discussion url detector always posts failed
Do you mean Discussion Edit Detector?
Comment has been collapsed.
Well I'm not using a lot of settings and majority of those I'm using stopped working correctly, so I can only make a smart guess based on the statistics. Since I rolled back to 7.27.2, no issues whatsoever. I can't believe you can't reproduce any of that, I don't even have any other script or style on ST and that one is visible like nothing else.
Do you mean Discussion Edit Detector?
Yes, the comment is being sent even with no refresh happening and future attempts showing "Failed!".

Ok, that one has already been reported and will be fixed in the next version.

I'll visit again in a week or two and report anything that other people don't report and get fixed earlier, thanks for your work, despite of my initial tone I actually appreciate what you're doing and it's a normal thing for stuff to break with this scale of fixes.

It's ok, I know I should have probably waited before releasing the new version to test it a bit more, but I just couldn't control myself. xD

I've been using this script along with SG20 for quite some time now. Something in the updated version seems to be incompatible with SG20's border colors in grid view. I've included images. The first is what the grid is supposed to look like (now with ESGST disabled) and the second is what it looks like now with the updated version.

It has been identified and will be fixed in the next version.

BTW, is there a setting menu for "SG Dark Grey" & "SGv2 Dark" in ESGST?
I'm glad the theme feature is added to ESGST.
However, I'm still using the standalone "SGv2 Dark" script because I need the customization for the theme.
Or am I missing something?
Comment has been collapsed.
What do you mean by a setting menu? ESGST installs the style the same way it's presented by Stylish/Stylus (I always get those mixed up).
Comment has been collapsed.
No i don't have any settings on the css version other than page width which can be set from in ESGST. You can enable the theme through ESGST and export your style to the custom css area though.
Comment has been collapsed.
...and export your style to the custom css area though.
What's this?
I think the css version(in ESGST?) is good enough for those don't need the customization feature.
Though, I may still stick to the standalone "SGv2 Dark" script version because of its customization ability.
Comment has been collapsed.
ESGST setting 10.6 provides a text area to put custom css. In the "Import/Export Settings" area of Sgv2 Dark save your changes to file then open that file and copy paste into the ESGST text area of 10.6
Edit: actually i think that might not work since moz-document would be present.

Rafa, I changed my notebook to a new one... but... what do I have to do to restore the data saved on Google Drive?
I pressed almost every button available on that restore data window... It does load, bot doesn't apply. Tried everything, nothing happened.
Comment has been collapsed.
Just that. Select all and click restore. Does the list of backed up files appear?
Comment has been collapsed.
Yeah. I do select the latest one, select all then close the windows.
Do you know the feeling that a "apply" button is missing because it is not "applying"?
Like that. Everything seems functional, but it doesn't apply.
Comment has been collapsed.
Does this only happen when restoring from Google Drive? Can you try from the computer or Dropbox?
Comment has been collapsed.
I honestly don't know how to reach the backup files on google drive.
I would love to try another method, but I couldn't find those files here...
Comment has been collapsed.
Yeah, I forgot Google doesn't allow you to see them manually. I'll see if I can restore from Google Drive myself.

I also noticed that it don't stop the "loading" (restoring?) anymore after lots of tries...

Enhanced SteamGifts & SteamTrades (ESGST)
An extension / userscript that adds some cool features to SteamGifts and SteamTrades.
If you find any bugs or have any feature requests, please file an issue here.
Compatibility
Tested and confirmed as working:
Not tested but should be working:
Not supported:
Installation
There are two different ways to use ESGST: extension or userscript. You can choose which one you want to use, but the extension is a lot faster and has a better peformance than the userscript, so I recommend it, although there is no major difference between them, except for a few options that are only available in the extension because of limitations in the userscript.
Option 1 - Extension
It should be possible to install the extension in any Chromium-based browser from the Chrome store (such as Opera, Vivaldi, etc...), any Firefox-based browser from the Firefox store (such as Waterfox, etc...), and any browser that uses the Phoebus system from the Pale Moon store (such as Basilik, etc...).
You can also use the extension on Android through Firefox for Android, but some features might not work or not be optimized enough for mobile.
Option 2 - Userscript
To install the userscript, you must install Violentmonkey, Tampermonkey, Greasemonkey or some other userscript manager first. Then click here and you should be prompted to install it. I recommend Violentmonkey or Tampermonkey, because the userscript uses the GM_addValueChangeListener API to communicate changes in the storage between tabs, and that API is not available on Greasemonkey, so a polyfill is used for Greasemonkey, which is not very effective and can affect the performance.
You can also use the userscript on Android through Firefox with Violentmonkey or USI, but some features might not work or not be optimized enough for mobile.
Beta Versions
The latest beta version for both the extension and the userscript is always available in the latest pre-release in the releases page.
