Misuse of steam new feature (sending pics via chat)

You can unfriend, block, and/or report people that harass you. People can already abuse Steam chat by spamming and sending dubious links, but I feel the tools available to us are enough to manage our own friends list

why misuse should be a problem? just because it's Steam?

if we need to ask ourselves this question each time a new chatroom goes out then we are doomed.
Ofc people will use it in a bad way, but u shouldnt obtain stuff from strangers i guess, i mean probably only groups will be a bit troublesome to deal with, the only thing that concerns me is that it is freaking similar to discord, and this makes me laugh a bit

A question here: the pics you send via chat will be stored on Steam servers, right?

they should ban some tv shows as well then, they do the brain damage, not some random nudes on the internet. 💩
valve could blurr the sent pics and allow people to make them visible by clickin on "show" or something. so you see a very blurred version and get an impression, but don't see the whole thing as it is. hehe. blurry dicks 😂. fun. 🍌
