Im tired of CoD fanbase. If you say something wrong about game, people will start to troll and call you bad. Also playing in this game is pretty annoying.Everywhere campers with granade launchers or some minigunes machine pistols spraying whole magazine in your back. Also DLC's are funny in CoD.You're paying cash for few maps from previous CoD's or something.

The community is horrible, bunch of meme spouting 12 year olds on voip trying to "troll" you. The PC version is littered with hackers, VAC takes way too long to get rid of people. As for the game itself I don't really hate it, I just find it played out and repetitive.

since modern warfare just world at war is about WW2

I haven't played any other CoD than Cod 4 MW in multiplayer, which I really did not like, much because it relies so much on how long you have played, and hence what gear you have unlocked.
That being said, I don't hate CoD, but I've never bothered with it at all.

I like CoDs from Treyarch, they're inovative, and experiment and change it a bit. IW on other side is just like, we like what 3arc did, bla bla. They keep talking about totally not innovative things such Fish AI, Dogs and shit like it's something never seen before.
Just my opinion. What I don't understand is why is everyone bashing CoD for unrealism, when they don't want to be realistic, I like what they once said, they're trying to make game like hollywood movie, if you think you can do it, if it's believeable add it into game. Something like that.
Also, quickscoping, it's so silly that everyone is saying it's for kids. It's not realistic, but who cares, it's quite fun, and improves your aiming skills. (On PC, consoles are other story with their autoaim)

The series doesn't improve over each iteration. The sales numbers would be even better if they did so.
Have a look at Grand Theft Auto franchise, Rockstar gave proper attention to every aspect of the game, improved on it and gave us even more. Call of Duty 4 was really good but they didn't improve or fix the game's flaws in Modern Warfare 2 and to add to that, sales numbers ended up misleading them with every iteration after that. To sum it up, it's the franchise's inability to improve itself that's gathering the hate/disappointment/whatever.

CoD was only good in the WW2-scenery, MW1 was ok aswell but then...
for me the CoD series became very boring

Wow. This subject again. It's not like people keep asking this same question every few weeks on every gaming website. Maybe you could google one of the hundreds of threads of the very same title. Hell you could switch out CoD for any other big name and still be swimming in hits.
I enjoyed playing CoD for a while, but I dislike CoD in general because of it's repetitiveness and how it rewards spazz-gaming instead of tactics, rewarding equipment choice as much as base strategy. Also the perpetual ladder-unlock style of gaming that essentially rewards more experienced/frequent players with better gear, leaving less experienced/less frequent players with less flexible or less powerful gear. Also the weapon balance from the game I played really needed checking. In matches where you have repeated respawns, but spawn with several grenades for your underslung-GL, attempting to play carefully is a bad idea, because the average time alive means you are better off vomiting all your grenades as soon as possible, blindly 'fishing' for kills at the corner of cover. CoD operates mostly as an enclosed-map deathmatch style game, but uses high-damage military style theming, which means balance, ammo counts and map design are absolutely paramount... yet there remained plenty of fortress locations (or weighted camping locations). CoD isn't just plain bad, it's more that vital aspects of it weren't given enough attention, and with each new iteration of CoD there isn't a whole lot of grand improvement. It's a rinse-and-repeat content approach, and that makes people facepalm with the previous batch wasn't quite up to 99% awesome quotient.
Now. All we have to do is wait awhile and another "Why do you hate <INSERT GAME HERE>?" thread will appear. If not here, then another social site near you!

-Shrugs- Do you see me in other communities? No. I only thrive in this closed community when it comes to gaming. And I haven't seen any threads actually challenge the idea of hating CoD. Most of them just complain about the series, when mine asks for constructive answers (Even though that doesn't mean I will get constructive answers)
But I'll cut you some slack because you're new. :3

At least it doesn't have Micro Transactions! :D . . .
(Yet....)

Although I do still dislike DLC, it's still far more tolerable than Micro-Transactions.
I wish they'd just wait a bit longer, stick all the DLC together for games, and then just make them into freaking Expansion Packs like you're supposed to.

just gonna copy this from another thread because I think it fits this thread better and I somehow skipped it.
Let's take a look at Ghosts..
Bad Company 2 and Operation Flashpoint games look better than Ghosts graphically speaking. They are also better games as well. There's no point in talking about newer games. This game looks dated. 2008 material.
Now... Multiplayer is basically Modern Warfare 3 (which was one of the worst shooters ever released) on worse maps.
Single-Player? Basically ripped-off too many movies and games to count. They ripped off themselves by literally copying the Modern Warfare 2 ending into the game. It's copied shot by shot. It's just ... on a whole other level of disappointment. They wanted to take some shots at Battlefield with this campaign but they failed miserably.
Badger Company in Atacama Desert playing with tanks with same loadout as in Battlefield BC2? hmmm... Same kind of desert tank mission like in Battlefield 3? Hmmm... Worst tank driving in history? Yep. Sounds legit.
What's more?
The Dark Knight Rises plance scene rip-off... I laughed so hard at that one. inb4 cod fans tell me it's a fan service thing lol
You fly some heli apparently. The control is dumb and ... it's just ridiculous handling overall. It's like a kids game.
That DOG was advertised to HELL and you only play (use) him for like 5 minutes lol. Pathetic.
Fish don't move all the time. Another fail there.
Remember the aircraft-carrier in BF4 that breaks in half and all the jets and planes slide in the ocean? That happens here pretty much the same way. Magnificent isn't it?
Can this game be at least 10% original? If you think all of this makes up for a good game then oh God... gaming is going down the toilet.
Not to mention their requirements are a total joke. 50 gigs for effing what exactly? All that ram and video card and processor for what exactly? And the price? Sigh
Best games in the series? COD4:MW and COD2
Enjoyable games in the series? COD1 and COD5
Mediocre shooters but still enjoyable? COD:MW2 and COD:BO2
Just utter mediocrity? COD:BO and COD:Ghosts
Absolute garbage? COD:MW3

Just overpriced.I don't hate it but I'd never buy any CoD game again.I hate BF, I don't like CoD.

If you can develop hard feelings like hate towards a game (series) I'd advise you to get a freaking hobby. You might not like something, and there are more than enough reasons in that series, but that should be just a reason to ignore the games and move on with your life.

I liked BF2 very much, but aside from that I hate the entire franchise. BF2 was okay, because I got it for free (back in the days you could share a CD-key) and I only played on infantry only servers. Got BF3 gifted, played some games (who the hell thought of this stupid server browser btw? Why desperately try to be "innovative" by putting it not ingame) and disliked it. I played some map with cargo stuff and a haven and it just looked and felt like a bad rip-off of CoD. A normal automatic rifle would shoot you across the entire map and people would be camping everywhere possible. Then I decided to try a normal game with vehicles. I spawn, get instakilled by a jet, spawn, get instakilled again, without being able to move because they were spawnkilling us. Tried to play it again after some days with some friends but aside from us nobody would play objective and we lost like 2-3 games in a row.
After that I instantly deleted the game.
CoD on the other hand does not force you to rely on your teammates to win. No stupid vehicles instakill you and spawntrapping only works in 1 gametype. It has more action and you can just decide to play one map while waiting or in between doing something because it's usually finished within 10 minutes. BF takes much longer.
But I won't say that every CoD was good. 1,2 and BO were very good. Very balanced weapons and good maps. MW 1 had these ridiculously op sniper rifles and grenades (with a perk you could take like 3 with you), MW2 had no balanced weapons either (the maps were good, tho), MW3 nothing say, BO2 secondaries stronger than primaries (except sniper rifles with 0 recoil and 10000 shots per minute and a instakill shotgun) and I haven't played Ghosts but from the videos I've watched it seems to be okayish.
That's my point of view and I don't care if you disagree.
Oh, and another reason why I hate BF are the fanboys. Way worse than CoD. They are usually a bit older (not much, maybe 1-2 years) but react the same which makes it worse. Plus they always argue with stuff like "graphics" (my pc is old why should I care?) and "realism" (If I would want realism I would play ARMA)

It is the franchise issue, because I've got all main entries except from 2 and Ghosts, and it's still the same experience as COD 4, whilst that's a great game, after all these years it gets repetitive, I've noticed myself playing them less and less each year to the point where I barely even played Black Ops 2 at all.

Ya know, seeing people bash Call of Duty can be fun, so can bashing it. But it can be annoying when people don't give legitimate reasons for hating it. So I want to know- Why do you hate (or not hate) Call of Duty? Now, I want to clarify that "Call of Duty" has 2 categories. 1. The Franchise, 2. The Individual games. The franchise includes its fanbase and would include the classic "Same game every year" reason. I expect it to be easy to bash that section. But what about the games? I want to know what makes each Call of Duty game bad. They're well made, albeit a short Campaign. They have tons of weapons, classes, maps, and game modes. So I want you to give me reasons for both. And if you can only bash the franchise, well then we can safely say that your opinions mean nothing. Here is where I stand:
I like the games. While I don't think buying a new CoD every year for $60(Prices are included in franchise), buying a game every few years is perfectly fine. I think the games are pretty fun, and I would play them when I could, just not buy them. As I said before, lots of weapons, maps, and game modes. It's addicting and fun to play with friends. The campagin can leave something to be desired, but I play it for the multiplayer anyways.
