RIP Paul Walker

Actor Paul Walker, best known for his role in the Fast and Furious franchise, died on Saturday afternoon after a car accident in Valencia, CA. He was 40 years old.
“It is with a truly heavy heart that we must confirm that Paul Walker passed away today in a tragic car accident while attending a charity event for his organization Reach Out Worldwide. He was a passenger in a friend’s car, in which both lost their lives. We appreciate your patience as we too are stunned and saddened beyond belief by this news. Thank you for keeping his family and friends in your prayers during this very difficult time. We will do our best to keep you apprised on where to send condolences,” a post on his official Facebook page said.

Sad.. though for some reason I am reminded of someone else who died a long while back to a stingray.. partially due to both deaths are a bit ironic considering what they where famous for.

He just finished two other movies. Hours, a thriller about Hurricane Katrina that's set to be released on December 13 and Brick Mansions, a remake of the French action thriller District 13 and due to be released May 1, 2014. I was looking forward to both these movies. I thought he was great many years ago in Meet the Deedles and always thought that the F&F franchise was above his acting ability.

R.I.P. Paul Walker and Roger Rodas (the driver). Their generous contributions through the Reach Out Worldwide charity organization that Mr. Walker created have been greatly appreciated. Both of these men will be missed by those whose lives that they helped as well as the fans of Mr. Walker's movies.
