I can't choose just one of these things, because I often combine them: running, biking and travelling. I quite often travel to a new place when I can sign up to a race as well and the best biking trips are when I am discovering a new place to me. This is what makes me happy :)

Not sure if I can make it in your WL, lately I tend to make large trains and no public giveaways. In any case, here are three pictures of my cat. Well two; one is actually a watercolour painting.
What makes me happy? Right now only seeing my friends having a good time partying and dancing. I would be really happy if I got to have a cat again, and/or a great girlfriend. Preferably both at the same time.

She's a professional artist on several technices, ars teacher and more. She met my best friend where he lives, because she goes there on summer. When he knew she does paintings and whatnot, he ordered her a watercolour of my recently deceased cat as birthday present to me. It's still the best physical gift I've ever got. I have it hanging above the computer, as I'm writing this. I can tell you that the photo doesn't do justice to the watercolour painting. A picture of my cat is a picture of my cat, a frozen moment. In the painting she looks alive as no picture can do. She used a special technique on her eyes mixin charcoal with the watercolour, so they... Well they don't glimmer or anything, but they look special. After almost six years, my mother still refuses to look at the painting, tho she has several pictures of her in her living room.
My friend liked the painting so much, that he told her to make another of his two dogs. I liked it so much that I told her to make a watercolour painting of my girlfriend.

Ducklings' cuteness v. kittens' cuteness... that's a tough call. Maybe ducklings for the visual, but kittens would win out on behavior and interaction.
Mature ducks' cuteness v. mature cats' cuteness... I don't see this going the ducks' way.

Yeah, pets certainly make your life more exciting, sometimes even too much lol, that's probably one of the reasons why I don't have one since my first cat died.

She has really bad eyesight. So outdoor was never worth considering.
Area wise my last place was about the worst place for outdoor cats. Current place is much better but still has a fair amount of risk before adding the eyesight issue.
It doesn't seem to bother her at all and she's a very happy cat.

Yes I do understand what you mean. My mom had a British Shorthair who sometimes had some trouble with breeding. It was the first and the last time we did not get a cat from the shelter.

Not sure how recent is recent (not as active here as I used to be) my last GAs were about 3 weeks ago (for the PAGYWOSG event), and my last public GAs were over a year ago (checking the winners and re-rolling the rule breakers is what kept me from doing any more public GAs), most of my invite only GAs were in the community trains.

I believe I qualify? "Decent" games is debatable though 2 WL ones I had recently certainly are.
What makes me happy? My PC. It plays games, shows me videos/anime/TV, lets me read e-books, lets me talk to what few people will talk back, etc.
