Wow some amazing art here.
drewmb10, especially love the third one.
I've had artist block for the past few years, but I hope to get back to it.

That was honestly the most frustrating drawing I've ever done in my life. Thought about quitting so many times because it never looked right. When things started falling into place, I felt a little better about it. Still far from perfect, but gotta start somewhere I guess!

I wish I have some skill like that to drew anything more than letters...
(since I'm a lawyer, I never needed much more than letters)
Anyway I'm just here to say, they look nice!

I made a thing in....hmmmm....2001 or so? If you think it's not anything special (and it isn't really), you might be slightly impressed when you see what kind of "software" I used to create it it was this Took me 2 weeks and that wasn't even the hardest part, transfering it to a computer from PsOne turned out to be way more complicated.

I'm definitely not an artist, but I think I have some (minimum) skills - feel free to correct me ;)
And I drawn mainly for the girls I had a crush on... :P
The first one was a bithday gift for one of them (scan + photo)
The third one is a pillow (I made the painting, not the pillow itself :P) for my current girlfriend/fiance.

Well... I dont have a lot of talent on this particular field of art but what can you do. I had drew few comics with my friends while my studies but i'll rather present few electronic masterpieces. Yes. There will be short description on every single picture about what it is and why did i make it.

Not so far lookin from one side but it's not LotR or WoW. Nope. Yes.
I'll post few more since someone liked my pieces of art. ART!
The first four are my classics. Frame Dog, The pursuit after pizza - Freud Following his own ID, Mr. Sunny and Poker Snake.
And then few of my other boredom series. Whole point is to open Paint and you have to draw black line in chaos. After you've done with that part you should start looking at those lines and think what picture they are hiding. And with color and sometimes minimal help you have to bring this picutre out to live. Yes. I think few of them are kinda arty. Yes.

Used to sketch a lot, these days most of the stuff I do is digital (pixel art, vector art, etc). It's all for fun, though...nothing professional, and I guess some is still incomplete. Here are some examples:

why problematic?
Have you seen this: comment formatting?

I have, and I have to open that every time I want to post a link or image, to remember which thing gets the square brackets, and which gets the round ones...it confuses me, I guess, because it seems the opposite of everywhere else on the net!

Of well, I guess I could but I would have to find them first. I think that I wrote about 30/40 poems (I'm talking about finished ones that was 'complete' - you know, checked few times, ready to be shown to world) and twice more that was left unifished, to be done when inspiration would hit me. I think only 5 of them was really good and maybe 2 was making me a little proud at the time. Many of them was ironic or 'funny'. They somehow helped me to deal with the world then.
My biggest 'regrets' are my ideas for short novels. I think it can be compared to drawing something or singing. You know what you want to show but you just don't have skills or you know how you want to sing but you don't have voice for that. I know that it's bad thinking because without practice nothing will be perfect but I actually dropped it for long time. Only recently I decided to come back to my old ideas. Maybe I will create something nice.
And yes, I'm from Poland. Poland Strong (see image below) You wouldn't understant the words but I think that, like music, poetry can be seen as universal language. I once ended up to listening some recitations of Russian poems. Sure I can recognize some words but when reader is good, you can feel what author wanted to say.
Sure, there are some 'original' types of poems. Knowing some background of writer or genysis of his work also might help, but the great thing is that many poems can by interpretet is as many ways as tehre are readers. It's great, because even if you don't see what author wanted to show you, you can learn something about yourself. I guess it only requires to find something that will 'talk to you'. You know, like when you listen to music and you hear first words and you just know you can relate to that, or that you can 'feel' it. That's amazing about it.
This is one of my favourite poems. I won't explain why but I can add that there was a time when I tracked all translations to my language to find one that was best in my eyes. Here it is, readed by Christopher Lee - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yb-hwaKWx7I
P.S.
Recently I was thinking about writing something like creepy pasta it is suppose to look like cp but should have more, serious deep in english (broken english actually, as it would suppose to be some 'page from diary' left by someone for others) with double meaning. If I will write it I can share it here, but I can't say when.

Have some old stuff since I don't really draw anymore.
And I hate coloring anything, so it's pretty much all black and white.
They're all drawn in mechanical pencil because I'm a stubborn twit (the only color one was colored in GIMP iirc when I was really bored).
edit: If you guys were looking for a shitty poem about being semi-closeted and a shitty song about foreign girls, you're in luck because I just remembered them!

These guys sound like Donald Duck when they talk
When alarmed, these tropical alien slugs scream to ward off predators
An Old Greg skin for MYF
Also a solid example of how I suck at humans / faces, featuring arms I cheated on by tracing.
I used to really like drawing, but when I lost my favourite clipboard and little art portfolio I stopped for the longest time. Eventually I got a cheap, cruddy tablet and struggled to the point that the frustration almost completely repelled me from ever drawing. Now I'm a Control+Z abuser, and terribly out of practice. Anybody can make cool art if you abuse the undo function enough and show enough patience!

Yessss, Undertale art <3
It released today, but of course it's in the middle of a work-week, meaning I can't just do a marathon playthrough. Just had to save and stop outside of the 'secret' Temmie village. Hnnngh, want more, but employment~

More like two (but with a whole bunch of flavour tweaks), but I think I'll just do my pacifist run and stop.
I really don't think I have the heart to do a non-pacifist run, not even for extra content. The world and it's characters are just too sweet.
Besides. Flowey will know 83.

Ah, so much talent on SG!
It's an unconventional medium, but I consider myself a bit of a sand artist myself.
Because the sand images are eventually destroyed by the wind and the tide, I feel that temporary nature of the art is a way to reflect on the fact that everything in life exists in a state of change. It provides an acute awareness of time, and act as a metaphor for the brevity of life.
Here's a picture of me working on my latest piece, around a year ago, and the final result seen from a distance.

I created this thread because I'm jealous of people with amazing artistic ability. When I was looking to fulfill my art requirement in college, I decided to pick up a drawing class. Mind you, I've never taken an art class or even drawn in my life... The professor said I'd have a really hard time because I was the only one who hadn't had years of experience creating art. Turns out it was one of my favorite classes I took.
Don't take this as a way of me bragging by any means... I just want to see what everyone else can do with a pencil, paintbrush, charcoal, etc. Here are some of the sketches I did for the class. I'd say I spent anywhere from 2-4 hours on most of them.
Please share any artwork you're proud of!
