Happy and cozy new year to you, too. I'm also wishing you the best for 2023.😊
It's sometimes cold where I live, but I've got my own heater and several dogs to cuddle with, so I'm alright.

Appreciate you. Happy New Year, try not to melt out there, and stay cozy and hydrated. 😺

No problem. Been feeding them for almost 15 months now. Also had their mom, but when I had her in to get her spayed, they found sickness inside of her, so it was better to let her go. But I know that the 2 big ones are her kids from many years ago. It took almost 8 months of feeding before they let me pet them, but now they found out they actually enjoy it :D

Good job on taking care of these cats, and I'm glad you finally got to pet them hehe.

My "goodbye 2022" GA ended, so here's also a "hello 2023" one, I guess, idk. Just trying to attract more cozy vibes for the year ahead, hehe.

Grow looks very pretty and colorful.
Edit: And I just won it heh.

Yeah, if not for region locks on like half of the games I'd get it yesterday. I still might, cause I received the "$6" coupon, but now after winning Grow I'm even less convinced. 🤔

✦ Only 3 hours left on these 2 cute GAs from s4k1s, hop in.

You're not going to make a list? I did find some cozy games in the articles you linked :D
I like cozy games, I also like doing cozy things in non-cozy games like just mining in 7days to die and designing a non-horde base or just playing with the electric function. I love the mining in 7days, gives good satisfaction over killing zombies and building a horde base.
Sincere Regards~

List of recommended games? I might... Most of recommendations are on the first few pages of the thread, so you could also look there.😉
As for cozy things in non-cozy games, I like this too. Zombie apocalypse in particular seems like a good setting for this for some reason haha. What other examples of this from your experience do you have?
Comment has been collapsed.
Good timing, as my GA ends very soon, so last chance for someone to hop in. 😼

✦ Next cozy event for the thread (approximate) date: January 27th. No GAs from me until then lol.
Everything's been sorted out for the most part, but if anyone wants to sponsor-host the final special GA for the event, let me know.
Comment has been collapsed.
At least someone is excited lol. Yeah, I'm pretty bored with "just" regular giveaways, so I decided to focus on making these little events for now, at least until I run out of ideas and/or time and/or keys, heh.

Oh heck, it's tomorrow, thanks for reminding.😺 Guess I lost track of the time with some RL stuff these past weeks, so it's gonna be rough with some details not properly thought through haha, but it's still happening, either tomorrow or on the weekend.
Comment has been collapsed.
Yeah... But I suspect it might get even worse, so I'll just go with the event later today, as not very well thought out as it might be.

Just a Lost Words bump as it is on sale and well worth the price
My niece loved it, although I guess the sad parts that left my face wet were a bit lost on her and she was quite confused about why the game was making me so sad but she enjoyed it and I certainly did. (Thanks again, TB ;) )

I'm glad you both loved it. 💛 Bought it when it was on sale last time, so I'll play it when I'm ready for the feels, I guess. 😺

Wanted to share this recommendation of a youtube channel called Wholesome Games They post trailers of upcoming cozy and cute games :) They also have a discord channel and a Steam Curator page
P.S. TragicBronson I think you would love this game (Flutter Away), you seem to really love capybaras :D
Comment has been collapsed.
I've been following this curator for a while, didn't mention it in the thread myself at the beginning to not discourage people from posting their recommendations for games, cause these guys seemingly have all cozy games in existence in their recommended list haha; and then I forgot about it...
And thanks for linking that game, the capybara looks cute (yes, I love them 😸).

Len's Island is the only one there I would be really interested in, and I already have it (gonna wait for more updates before playing it though, haha). Forager looks nice too, but I decided against buying it a while ago after reading negative reviews like this one.
Comment has been collapsed.
I already have two of the games in it, but I'm definitely gonna get it.
I quite enjoyed what I played of Kitaria, though it gets a bit grindy, and I personally loved Stranded Sails, even if it's far from perfect. At least there's a story and there's an end (even if you can continue even after, I didn't feel the need to, I was satisfied).
Len's Island and Spirit of the Island have been on my WL for quite a while.
Re:Legend and Serin Fate were, too, but from comments/reviews on them, I took them off to give priority to others, but with this package they come pretty cheap, so why not, to try them out.
And I hear Forager is great, though addicting, so didn't put it on my WL, but been entering the GAs for it. (Just read the review you linked TB, but well, I'm gonna put minimum to developers and max to the charity, so... won't hurt my heart too much to give money to him).
Over all 12€ for 5 new games, makes for just about 2.5€ per game, and Stranded Sails seems to have more contents than it did when I played it on Switch, so I might actually register it if the Switch version hasn't been updated with it all. And I'd be happy to giveaway Kitaria (probably in this thread).

Thanks for your mini review on Stranded Sails. I'm thinking of playing it soon.
The other 2 from the list that I already have and have finished are Forager and Len's Island.
For Forager, as someone successfully said, it is digital heroin. And if it didn't have such a greedy and arrogant creator, it would get incredible publicity especially from me. So it's easier for me to advertise 2 others that are quite similar, the first being Nova Lands, which isn't out yet, but anyone who wants can get a taste. And with the second being Outpath: First Journey, which is free and it's like Forager 3D.
For Len's Island, despite the big update he got over the holidays, it remains very short and feels empty. It also needs optimization as it requires a lot of RAM. It will probably need enough updates to justify its original price, but at this price, I'd say it's worth it.
Comment has been collapsed.
Thanks for the feedback, I added Nova Lands to my wishlist, but Outpath's gonna be a pass for me, first-person games get me motion sick unfortunately, so I steer clear of them ^^;
Len's still in early access, right? let's hope the full release answers our hopes for it. I just love what I saw of the house customization and world in general ^^

first-person games get me motion sick unfortunately
I'm sorry about that, I didn't know.
Len's still in early access, right?
Yes it's still in early access so it needs more stuff, e.g. in my playthrough i built 2 farms so i can sell some products but the buyers don't have enough money. With the money, you can buy extra seeds, but since they can't buy the ones already produced, there's no need...
They could add random merchant(s), like in Dinkum, who buy in bulk and sell rarer materials, parts, or tool-weapons. Or merchants on other islands without enemies, where they will operate every x days.
I bought it over the holidays, so I don't know what changed with the big update, but I hope they add a lot more stuff in the future.
Visually and design-wise, it's on the right track. :)

Np, you couldn't have known hehe
Not that FP games don't interest me, but I can only sit by others playing them to listen to the story while doing something else, just taking quick peeps at times or during cinematic, so that's easier to do with story-driven FP games than survival ones with often little story.
I have Dinkum on my wishlist, I'll certainly get it one day, already have too much to play atm, but when I get in the mood for it, it's a must buy for me. If I see it on sale or bundled before that, I'll probably get it then.
Fingers crossed for great update with a lot of contents!

Haven Park is currently free on GOG, seems relevant to the thread as it looks a bit similar to A Short Hike :)

In the last exam season of my masters' degree, so I'm not having the coziest of times atm.
Anyway here's a 48h long GA for Lost Words: Beyond The Page :) Lvl 2+ and minimum ratio of 1.0, sorry. Please don't share the link outside this thread.

[A Story Beside](https://www.sgtools.info/giveaways/d2db7ad5-5b38-431f-afea-43621b578137)
This is only restricted to those who have activated all their wins, haven't won any games more than once, and haven't gotten a VAC ban. Simple enough.
I've been told this is cozy, so I made a giveaway for it. I even got a copy for myself.
I hope the winner likes it as much as I think they will.😊

Welcome to the Cozy Zone, the corner of SG dedicated to sharing and discussing cozy games. Get yourself a blanket, some hot chocolate or herbal tea, get comfy in your chair and enjoy the good vibes and the good gibs too.
I'm certain most of you are familiar with the concept of "cozy gaming/games" by now, but to avoid any confusion here are some excerpts I stole from articles written by people who are better with words than me, which should give you the idea:
Links: 1 2 3 4
With that out of the way and skipping the whole "in these hard times we all need more cozy time in our lives" preamble (heh), let's get straight to what the Cozy Zone is
supposed to beabout:❣ My giveaways of cozy games. To be honest (at first) I just needed a place for my next gibs, as it so happened that I was in possession of some amount of keys for this particular type of games, but instead of going with just another one-time train I decided to make it an ongoing thread. So
for nowthe plan is to do GAs for this thread with games of the cozy kind on a somewhat regular basis.✽ Your giveaways of cozy games. Everyone is welcome to join me in making GAs for games that fit the theme. No strict guidelines, use your own discretion when deciding if the game is good for this thread. In general, fitting games usually have one or more of these tags on Steam: Relaxing / Family Friendly / Cozy / Wholesome / Cute / Comedy; and here are some tags that these games usually don't include: Violent / Gore / Survival / Psychological Horror / Hentai / Dark / War / Military / Dystopian (these are just some examples of some of the most popular tags). In any case, if a game seems cozy enough to you, feel free to give it away. Just make your GAs private (aka invite-only).
Special Cats tag exception: as a result of the FCDSCGC-2023 event, cats were proclaimed the mascot animal of our thread and thus any game that has a 'Cats' tag on Steam is allowed to be given away here, whether it's cozy or not.
Every active giveaway will be featured in the OP (if I'm around at the time it's running).
☯ General discussion of cozy games. Random cozy games discoveries, thoughts on latest games you've played, discounts alerts and everything else related to games of the cozy kind.
◒ Recommendations for cozy games. Do share your favorite games, well known or not. Hidden gems are especially welcome though, cause many niche games often go largely unnoticed.
✧ Cozy events. So, events have become a semi-regular occurrence in our thread, and I'm looking to make them an integral part of the Cozy Zone experience moving forward. If you want to host an event in the thread which requires some coordination or have an idea for a future event, please contact me on Steam; otherwise, feel free to post your cozy trains, celebratory GAs, puzzles and whatnot at any time. You can also contribute by either partially or fully sponsoring the prize pool and/or by donating cozy games for events (as I might struggle to fully cover these prize/GAs-wise on my own, so some help is always appreciated; again, contact me for this).
If you wish to just bump the thread, feel free to so, but keep in mind that the recommended way to bump is the cozy way, which is achieved by posting:
♦ pics of your adorable pets ♦ pics of your cozy gaming space ♦ pics of anything cozy or cute ♦ light-hearted memes ♦ links to relaxing music (make sure to check out our own cozy playlist ♫ too) ♦
One rule in this thread: good vibes only, so please let's make it comfy for everyone and keep the negativity to the minimum.
❦ Active giveaways ❦
from Ellendyl ⇝ Euro Truck Simulator 2 (lvl 2+)
❀ from s4k1s ⇝ 4 games cozy Cakeday train (lvl 1-2+) ❀
⋗ Current streak of consecutive days with at least one GA running has been going since: January 15, 2023 (approximately)
Previous giveaways and events: ⟲
Thanks to everyone who contributed with cozy giveaways and recommendations. ʕっᵔᴥᵔʔっ♡
