What is a movie that everyone hates but you love (with no shame!)
Giant (and preferably shapeshifting) robots blowing shit up got so deeply ingrained into my brain during my childhood that the Transformers films are just a must-see for me.
Although there really is no defending Revenge of the Fallen, that's the movie series' equivalent to such G1 cartoon episodes as "B.O.T." and "Carnage in C-minor" - there's few things in the entire franchise that are worse than those.

There were some rather dire episodes in the original cartoon, and honestly, without nostalgia it does not hold up all that well (the comics do hold up surprisingly well though). But the Bayformers movies really are among the worst things I've seen from the Transformers franchise. The first two movies at least, I've not seen any of the other ones. I fond them mildly upsetting in how bad they were, where the worst the cartoon could make me do was give it a deep sigh and shake my head.

8 Crazy Nights, it is tied with A Christmas Story as my favorite holiday movie.

For some reason it's generally considered one of his weaker films, mostly because people have a harder time with the "weirdness" of the eccentric characters. To be honest I don't see the characters as being any more eccentric than many of Anderson's creations, and love 'em all:)

Eh, I don't "hate" the Star Wars prequels, I just don't like them. Well, other than the overly long and pointless pod racing sequence from Episode 1, and all the Gungans. Okay, so I might hate Episode 1, but the other ones are in the boring "bad but not terrible" territory.
Actually, the thing that bothers me the most about Episode 1 is not any single sequence in it, but how it feels the need to make everything so interconnected from the get-go. Did the droids really need to have been such an important part of Darth Vader's life? Would it not have made more sense if they were just droids that happened to be there in Episode 4? I hate it when prequels do things like that, because it feels lazy, and it makes the world feel a lot smaller. (Don't get me started on the Dune prequels).
As for a movie that everyone hates but I love? Hm, can't think of any. I hate a lot of movies that other hate a bit less than they do, often just finding them to be boring. Well, I found DOOM to be watchable, does that count? Mostly everyone I've seen mention it online have hated it, but I found it to be utterly alright.
