I prefer Steam, but I think Origin's support is really great. Just my opinion, but they're really friendly (spoke to them via live-chat) and helpful. But other than that, Steam all the way.

A while ago, origin support was contacted by a russian guy claiming he owned my account.
Origin support Russia, as friendly as they are, helped him change the password without access to my email account.

The guy played some Battlefield 3, resetted my stats, changed my name and region to kasachstan.

Origin support is so op.

Steam, steam steam steam steam steam steam steam steam steam steam steam steam

Next time don't buy Russian keys. Origin support always asks for a CD-key of any game you own when you ask for account-changing operations (to change password, email, ID, etc). So yeah, you probably purchased a Russian key and he proved he owned your account by showing the proof of purchase of the CD-key you "own".

Is that a question? I can't think of one reason to prefer Origin over Steam.

I prefer Steam, of course, but i haven't found yet nothing so bad in origin maybe in some of the ea games but origin works like it should, for me. If i had to choose a bad software from the list I would choose UPlay, this is bad and buggy with problem in installing, updating, buying games and making them appear in the library also the client have no features to make it interesting.

why is this question even being asked?

I like Steam more because I have more games on it, it has a larger library, and it has more features and sales.

I think Origin compliments my use of Steam very nicely.

I don't need to have it open for most of the games I own on it and
it doesn't have all of the unnecessary social aspects to distract me.

I'm not forced to install DLC and I have the option to hide games as well so that's nice.

I haven't found any issue with Origin yet.

I don't use it either, nor do I see any reason to; there's no games I'm interested in on there.

Steam because the prices are more reasonable and I trust Valve more than EA with games.

Steam vs Amazon is a different story. Both are good and both have reasonable prices. I would vote amazon because of their competitive pricing and their $5 off coupons with purchase of certain games. In terms of DRM, Steam because it doesnt seem invasive to me.

I voted Steam on both, because I didn't read nothing XD, so I think this results won't be correct because in second poll a lot of ppl vote Steam because don't read nothing.

Origin doesn't really have less bugs than Steam. Steam just has a lot more features, so it's more likely to find a bug. Origin sometimes fails at basic features and there are lots of things i miss there.
I havn't used Uplay so far, but I always hear a friends rant against it, so I guess it's even worse.
