So, I joined only a few weeks ago, and as soon as I won something I was excited.
AT THAT POINT, I had never hosted a giveaway. So I get being new and that being a good reason for level 0 Giveaways.

My question is, how do you handle people if you ever bother to check out who joined your giveaway?
About 2/3's of the people who join mine, seem to have contributed back to SG, but 1/3 of them, have never hosted a giveaway.

I was astounded because it only took me winning 2 giveaways to NEED to do some of my own, or I would feel guilty. (Yes, my games currently have been all left over from bundles, but I'm a new sub teacher, and I'm very tight on funds this summer... I managed to get called ONCE for summer school... yay.)

Anyways... I saw users who have won $300-1000 worth of games and have NEVER hosted their own giveaway...

Do you let them continue to join your Giveaways or do you Blacklist them?

Curious cause I'm new and am looking for feedback.

It really depends .

I take all Possible PoVs into consideration tbh .

On one hand ... there are the people who really cannot actually afford to buy games cause one reason or another .
I would love if the winner of a giveaway of my is that kind of person .
On second hand tho , there are the bots / Leechers ... who just hoard games on multiple accounts for the sake of hoarding ...
I Put level restriction cause such people.

3rd option is the general Hoarder ... is the people who just enter any giveaway in existence for the sake of winning some free loot ... and doesnt give close to a single fuck bout actually playing the game ... pretty much h8 that kinda people .

Keeping that in mind tho , the point of the place is to giveaway stuff , and dont ask much questions in return .
It would be lovely if you can give it away to a person who really wanted to play it ... thats the best possible outcome for me .
But more often then not ... its just a generic leecher who wins the stuff ... so gotta learn to deal with it :)

I'm level 4. I gave away a few good games when I joined here a little over two years ago but an accident has prevented me from working so lately I haven't been able to do as many giveaways. I only won three games the first year I was here and two of those were multiple-copy giveaways. I think just about everyone here won the Galactic Arms Race one. My luck improved dramatically after that first year and I have since won many low level giveaways with lots of entries. I contributed to several of the Fortix giveaways (I miss those). I have given away games that weren't bundled (at the time). I even payed full price for my GTA Collection and Just Cause Collection giveaways. Now look at my ratio - especially the dollar value.
Anyone can feel free to add me to their blacklists because of my ratio. I will return the favor if I find that I'm on one. Just remember that when my situation improves you may miss out on my generosity.
Which brings up another point and a question. How many of you who blacklist others due to their ratios go back later and check to see if they have corrected their ratio to your satisfaction?
I only blacklist regifters (or any other type of rule breaking) and people who are rude or make inappropriate comments.
I rarely ever make level 0 giveaways. Making them at least level 1 ensures that the participants have given away something.
