I've seen a lot of doubt concerning this, so I tested and thought I'd let y'all know.
The Grand Theft Auto Collection on GreenManGaming contains GTA 1 and 2, in addition to GTA III, GTA Vice City, GTA San Andreas, GTA IV and GTA IV Episodes From Liberty City.
1 and 2 aren't listed on the page, but I just bought and used a key and got both of the removed ones as well. I don't know how long this stock will last though, or the sale for that matter, so get it now if you want those 2 removed games.

Some purchase info: You will only get 1 key to redeem all the games. The pack is currently 80% off, or 10$. You can apply the voucher 20PERC-AUTUMN-SAVING to add another 20% off, making it 8$. GMG Credit and Vouchers can not be used together.

I hold no responsibility for whether or not you get those two.
The pack on Steam.

And what's a thread without a giveaway? I dunno, a piece of string maybe? Who cares.

I purchased last year these package in steam only for 5€ but sadly didn't contain GTA 1 and 2. :(

One question. If I buy that pack, but already own the rest of the games (I bought them separately), will I still be able to activate the Collection on Steam just so GTA I & II can be added? (I don't mind to lose the rest of the games from the bundle if it's just one key). Thanks!

You could get it the last time they had it on sale...

The only thing i can come up with is that these keys have them and the rest do not as every time it goes on sale ...one of these threads seems to get started....

I just can not see myself paying 8 bucks just to have those 2 games when i already own both on cd,and had them on the ps1 at one time and GTA 2 on the Dreamcast

That is also why i laugh at those who call it a removed game when you can still purchase this pack to get them, and no i am not trying to say it is not a removed game,i am just saying it is only removed in the aspect of not buying it direct on steam and i feel bad for those who pay way more for a gift copy to add to there account as i doubt a trader would tell them they could get the complete pack on GMG with the missing games.

A lot of people did not know, myself included, and I've been here 2 years and never saw anyone sure on whether they were or were not included.

As for your laughter, I'm glad I made you laugh :)

Most of the removed games can still be acquired outside of Steam. Especially newer titles since keys are more commonplace. There's only a few that where only ever available as gifts. Some are just easier to find. In this case the issue is that till someone buys and confirms you don't know which version is being sold. If you're buying a steam key for Prey, it's Prey, end of. Buying a GTA Pack could be several different things.

These were free for a time directly from the publisher. Was a few years ago.

Convenience of having them there in your library is a major factor. The first two Elder Scrolls games were available free in the same manner but I still got them when they became available on GOG so I don't have to worry about saving/storing the files and patches and faffing with version compatability.

Wow! Thank you for this information. Just bought it (had to use a VPN though). I wanted GTA 2 to be in my library, now it is.

Perfect, I've been looking for an excuse to get these on Steam, played GTA3+ on consoles only, so finally time to step it up. $8 for the entire collection (minus GTA5) seems like the best time to do so, thanks! I do remember seeing this previously but it wasn't this cheap, heh

It seems there aren't anymore the first two charapters, or at least the GreenMan Gaming store page says so now...

It didn't say that it has the first 2 games. They just got activated with the provided Steam key.
