Hey there fellow SteamGifters! :)
I am looking for a few of you who will help me with a first "test run" of my new group The Vivarium.
For the test run I am looking for a maximum of 100 members. (You can then decide if you want to stay in the group after this has ended.)
The Group
I am planning to run fun events (for the group and / or all SteamGifters) with this group regularly.
The idea is that these events can be unlocked by creating giveaways.
All giveaways will count towards a shared pool of points and the group members will have to collectively reach a certain amount of those points.
While every giveaway has a base value, the exact amount of points that a giveaway is worth depends on how many group members have the game on their wishlist.
Members will be able to check the current amount of points on a small website.
You will find a more detailed explanation of the points system in the group discussions after you've joined.
Rules
I have already thought of a few rules for the group and you can find those here.
These rules do not apply to the test run though.
It is much more important that you actually plan to participate by creating giveaways or giving feedback.
(I will kick anyone who just joins to leech during all of this.)
Test Run
During this test run I am trying to figure out all the details of the group.
What is a good base value for giveaways / a good amount of points that the members have to reach?
Are there any particular rules that a group like this should have?
Does the website work properly?
So please give me feedback on things like that if you participate in the test run.
Everything (in particular the website) should be ready for the test run this weekend, but you can start participating right away.
(I had invited a few from my whitelist and two giveaways have already been created.)
The test run will end once the first "event" (for this test run I will just reward all those that helped with a good old giveaway train) has been unlocked.
The amount of points that you need to unlock the train may change during the test run of course.
Let me know if you want to join and I will send you an invite as soon as possible! :)
