I'm not talented at that kind of thing, but the event last year was really exciting and a blast to take part of. Hope you get some submissions and Christmas is saved! (Or rather you don't have to do all the work. :P)

I added transparent squares for the doors. And the character is supposed to be a mascot of Steam I tried to design. ^^

I saw this thread some time ago and was hoping to find some nice images of calendars here. It is unfortunate you didn't get any entries in time.
I'm not much of an artist but because of the lack of entries I'm willing to give it a go and with the deadline moved to the 15th I should be able to make something.
If anyone has any suggestions or ideas for the calendar I would welcome them, anything from global art style to specific characters you would like to see to a sketch in paint of an idea you had. I may not use them but it could give me or others some inspiration and motivation to make some calendars.

I don't think i'll be able to finish in time. I'm used to old fashioned drawing on paper and doing it digitally is a lot harder then expected.
There is some progress but i want to add some more characters and decorations and a lot of color/shading.

I managed to add a bit more to the image and it looks a lot better now.
For some reason the colors get screwed up when saving... Does anyone know why the colors in Gimp change when saving to png and how to stop this from happening?

As you may know (or not know) with the help of some Users I created two different Christmas Calendars in the last 3 years... I would like to do it again but: the creation of the event will be an event too...
I need someone to draw an Christmas-Calendar.There are the following rules
If you want to add doors: doors should have the (exact!) same size (it would be okay if door 24 will be bigger) (I'll later add an Animation that will open the door)
You don't have to create doors, every picture would be good. It just have to be Christmas-related.
Why should you do it?
The winner will not only be named in the calendar and collect tons of bluehearts, you will also get a game from your wishlist up to 40€.
How can I win?
Post your picture here or send it on steam till the end of october. A little vote will start at november first and will be open till November 10ths.

The picture will still be yours and you keep all the rights on this picture. You just allow me to use it in this single calendar and only if your picture will win.
