FYI I did pirate in the past(no cash at all, no job, just a prebuilt dell PC with a replaced power supply and budget graphics card), but steam is causing me to have such a backlog, even the basically nonexistent risk isn't worth pirating these days .. and my list is a bit long, cause I won't limit it to the top few :/ .. games that I pirated in the past and really enjoyed I bought out of respect, even if I plan on never playing again.
World of Warcraft: 12,0XX(somewhere between 40 and 60)hours.. no more to come, quit WOTLK with exactly 12000 hours, and played during a free week on a scroll of resurrection during cata and was able to get full epic gearz(the freebies) and top charts on a class I never played before in the raid finder(ok.. I was probably a bad warlock, as it wasnt by a huge margin)
Diablo II: approximately 5000 hours, who knows, over a rather long time, all I know it was only during LOD
Diablo III: 1000 hours, none to come very soon(maybe next expansion, or a few major patches)
Guild Wars: 900 hours, none to come ever again, but is a great game, even solo, just hard mode dungeons will be extra hard/impossible single player(AI groups)
Guild Wars II: 700+ hours, maybe if they change combat a bit I would come back(doubtful).. I didn't feel awesome... as a warrior build around dealing sudden heavy damage I couldn't take 3 enemies with ease(I would be almost dead when done with them.. not good when im hitting them all at once) ...
Star Wars Galaxies: ~600+ hours, I got into this wayyy to late into its lifespan
Halo 1/2/3/ODST: ~500+ hours, I played alot online, along with multiple campaign runs(single and multiplayer) most this time was on Halo 2
Skyrim: 300+ hours(hard to log time on pirated games): played through a few times, hard for me to sit down and play it these days due to lack of time, need a major holiday weekend where im doing nothing to really enjoy the longer games(this and fallout)
runescape: ~250 hours, never really tracked how much I played, but it wasn't that much and im done with it now
Golden Sun trilogy(upper majority in the GBA titles, as the DS version earned no replay): 248hours, itll increase eventually
Path of Exile: ~200 hours, only 34 logged on steam, but I have been playing since early beta on/off, IDK if I will play again, while a good game there is something turning me off on it(not sure what.. maybe its the skill tree(it allows alot of options, but makes to much to think about right at the start I guess)
Fallout New Vegas 198 hours between modding and playing, I have spent alot of time on this.. and yes this is before I legally purchased it(at the time, I had no access to funds of any sort to buy it)
Pokemon Gold(GBC, not the remake): 148 hours and some odd minutes, won't be playing again as I sold it.. but I will miss my original pokebros.
Terraria: 111hours, amazing game, will play through it again some day after a few more patches to enjoy the cool stuff, better to play with a friend.. just try to stay away from the item generators, as you might go hey I want this, give yourself a rocket launcher which can break things, then make a 3 mile wide crater to hell and never play again for some time. .. if I was more creative I could easily have wayyyy more time
Borderlands 2: 79 hours, I might play again, I might not.. haven't really decided..as its beat campaign.. play campaign again and its harder.. and repeat.. already did the campaign twice and its getting boring now(kinda wish i didn't get any of the level cap increasing DLC's and did the campaign DLC's at max
Civilization V: 71+ hours, more will come for sure, between mods and just enjoying the game.. time to disable AI's ability to build wonders and I will definately love it! .. I know I played some on a pirated version, I just can't recall anywhere near how long
Starbound: 36 hours and counting, letting it get out of beta before I get back into it
Rogue Legacy: only 17 hours atm, but I just got it during the steam summer sale.. and am actually enjoying it(just beat the game first time.. now for(redacted for possible spoilers)) - suspect maybe 30+ hours when im done(way higher than my 2hrs per dollar spent requirement for PC games!) .. and I still suck at the downward strike

Going off Steam only:
-TES V: Skyrim: 181 hours
-Audiosurf: 58 hours
-Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning: 56 hours
None of these I consider myself done with either, so those numbers'll still rise.
I probably also have some console games with higher numbers, but I can't really remember well enough to guess.

1.- Oblivion, 200 hrs on PS3 and 100 on Xbox, on PS3 I visited the whole world, I really didn't have any game on ps3 back then.
2.- Fallout 3 around 200 hrs.
3.- Dragon Quest 8, spent a lot of time trying to beat the last optional boss.
There are other games with over 100 hours spent, but I don't really remember them, shooter on pc back in the 90s.

The Sims, lol.
Followed by Dragon Age and Mass Effect, I believe.
Or Age of Empires.
It's hard to say exactly considering I don't got any tracking for those games, but, pretty damn sure the Sims takes number 1 as I played that every damned day for years all day.

World of Warcraft (3400 hours+)
Diablo 2 (Unknown, but a ton. Wouldn't be surprised if it were even higher than WoW)
Diablo 3 (1200+ hours)
