is there a way to batch remove the games from the missing list?

I'm a moron and used that script from steamdb to add free licences
but now I deleted those licences to remove them from my backlog but I didn't think that I would to manually remove them

I am noticing that you tried your hardest to exclude known software from the list of "games" I need to clear out of my backlog. Based on that, there are a few that still show up.

I let mandrill know about it, but the first few I checked are actually on some custom lists, we'd basically empty those lists then :/ (some seem to just be software list, but someone also made a game developing list, so they might want to keep that)

Interesting site :)
Saw few profiles and lists there, nice way to organize steam library and find inspiration to complete more games :D
I mostly play one game(Counter strike 1.6) and my Completion Rate is terrible, but from time to time i try completing others. There are dozens of installed games just waiting for that :)
So i would like to join :)

Didn't know where else to ask since Steam Group is closed for me :)
There are 2 missing games on my SG win list(Galactic Arms Race and Europa Universalis III Chronicles), so how to add them?
And Sid Meier's Civilization IV with DLC is listed 2 times. So how to remove them? :D

try this thread - we've recently opened up the General + Website forums for anyone to post in, you're more likely to reach mandrill (the website admin) through there :)

From the FAQ in the main post:
Why wasn't I invited to the Steam group?
We add everyone who applies in this thread to the users of our website, meaning after you login there with your Steam account for the first time, you can use it as a regular member. Invites to the Steam group are sent out by admins or mods to users who have been using the site actively for at least 10 days (depending on frequency and extent of their activity, might be several weeks until you get an invite).

Huh? I meant BLAEO came about as a sub-community of this website, it's only for members of Steamgifts, and one of the main focuses is won games from here (hence the un-editable list). We've never claimed to be multi-platform or anything, and we're actually excluding software + randomly added things (like director's commentary videos) when we're made aware of it. Mandrill built a side that synchs your Steam library and cross-references it with your Steamgifts account, and you can write posts about stuff and make lists. That's all the site is, I'm not sure why you keep asking for more functionalities when you're not even using what's there.

Because you haven't sorted your games yet - grey are all uncategorized games (for now counted as never played). The site syncs your playtime + achievements, but since it's possible someone idled games and/or used SAM in the past, nothing except for 100%ed games is pre-categorized. Every status change after you first login has to be manual, even for new 100%s. The site doesn't do anything and there are no points, only if you're doing monthly themes (and not always, and VNs are usually not favored there, they don't give a lot of points). As linked in the OP, tso made a guide with screenshots. The initial sorting is a lot of work, but it gives you a nice overview of how far you've come, if that's what you're after.

Yes, well, it was never supposed to - people do post about game progress outside of Steam, and some have separate posts they update themselves for statistics, but that's all the site can do. You'll have to find something else for non-Steam progress.

Check out Backloggery if you haven't already. You'll need to manually add games, but they can be added because it's not going just through Steam's own database. I don't think any site out there can somehow automatically know all the games you have on various platforms, though.

You haven't even used the basic functionality the website offers, also we never intended it to be used for all the games you own. It's limited to Steam and will be like that. You are going into an ice cream shop complaining they don't serve sushi. So leave the shop please, you are annoying our customers.

I would like to apply as well, seems like a nice site to track your game activity.

You 100%'ed Torchlight and Torchlight II. You need help. =)

Can I join? Something like this seems like it'd be a good motivator to really tackle my backlog.

Hey I have a question; A few of the games in my Steam library I've actually beaten already but on other platforms (Darksiders on PS3, Trails in the Sky on PSP, Nights Into Dreams on Sega Saturn, Psychonauts on the original XBOX, and a few others), should I mark them as beaten or only do that when I've played through them again on Steam?
Comment has been collapsed.
We don't check any of that, categorization is for you. I'd say mark them as beaten/completed if you don't think you'll play them again on Steam, or even as won't play, and leave them as unplayed or unfinished if you want to play through them on Steam again at some point. Maybe make a list for those titles so they're tagged for yourself

I already joined BLAEO web site.

Hi, Im a naughty boy and need to give away more games.
Thanks.

Not necessarily, just have to rid myself of these naughty thoughts. Maybe giving away games would help. Maybe if i give away naughty games, oh getting hot and bothered just thinking about giveaways.
Make sense?

This sounds fun. Setting goals is always a good way to get things done.
I'd like to join the site at least.

After some ground-breaking new website features implemented by mandrill, BLAEO is accepting member applications again! :D
But instead of being invited to the Steam group directly, you will be given access to our website after applying in this thread. Just set up your profile there and be active if you want to, and we'll eventually invite you to the Steam group. Right now the Steam group is mainly used for syncs with SG and group giveaways on here (and reminder announcements for various things), so you're not missing much if you don't get invited right away ;) And just to clarify, the website is basically the group, the Steam group is pretty much just a bonus ;)
Thanks to this new feature, we can now proudly announce that there are no requirements to join (not that we really had any before), simply let us know you're interested here :)
Once you're in the Steam group though, you're only allowed to enter group giveaways if you've been active (we won't post our requirements/definition of "active" so people can't abuse that information).
So, in conclusion, post here to gain full access to the BLAEO website and then add mandrill to your whitelist :P
Please do not add group admins/mods or post to their Steam profiles to get an invite, you'll get added to the site much faster if you just reply in this thread
PLEASE DO NOT REQUEST TO JOIN THE GROUP WITHOUT HAVING BEEN ADDED TO THE WEBSITE! Request to be added to the website in this thread first!
If you don't know where to start on the site, read this guide, and/or this guide. Extra info on image formatting.
If you don't want to miss any announcements, subscribe to these group threads (works for everyone):

FAQ (under construction)
I just joined, and the site isn't showing achievements for my games. Help?
The site starts compiling everything starting with your first login, so if you just used it for the first time, just wait a few hours. Same with new achievements and game additions, just give it some time.
How do I post on the site?
Read this getting started guide, and/or this guide.
How do I get into the Steam group?
We add everyone who applies in this thread to the users of our website, meaning after you login there with your Steam account for the first time, you can use it as a regular member.
Steam changed how groups manage new members and we can no longer invite people we aren't already friends with. So after you're added to the website and have been using it for a while, request an invite to the Steam group if you want to join. We'll review your request and accept it if you have indeed been active on the site (for at least 10 days, but depending on frequency and extent of activity, might be several weeks until you get an invite).
PLEASE DO NOT REQUEST TO JOIN THE GROUP WITHOUT HAVING BEEN ADDED TO THE WEBSITE! Request to be added to the website in this thread first!
I applied in this post and didn't get invited to the Steam group.
See above.
What are the benefits of being in the Steam group?
You get to
post on the forums and* join giveaways that are shared with the group here on SG! But remember that we're not a giveaway group and there aren't many running giveaways at any given time, so you're really not missing much if you're not in the Steam group.*the forums are open to everyone now, no need to join the Steam group
Why did I get kicked from the Steam group?
There's really only one rule: Don't join group exclusive giveaways (i.e. not shared with any other groups or the whitelist) if you haven't been active on the site for a while. A "while" can be anything between 14 days and over a month, depending on your usual activity (e.g. members with huge monthly posts won't get kicked for joining a group exclusive GA 4 weeks after their last post, but someone with who usually posts short updates like "I finished this game, it was fine" every few days and hasn't posted in over 2 weeks might get the boot - this is examined on a case by case basis, any kinds of posts are fine, just be aware of this when you want to enter a group exclusive giveaway AND stay in the Steam group).
I got kicked out of the Steam group, can I still use the website?
Yes! You can use it just like before, nothing changes for you in that regard.
I left the Steam group. Does that affect site usage in any way?
No, but please let us know about it, especially if you don't want to get invited back into the Steam group, so we can make a note of it and don't spam you with invites when you're active on the site.
