Glad to hear. :)
Honestly i was hoping a bit more people would join in, with a lower amount of pieces and it being christmas themed, but the average amount of solvers is the same as on my normal puzzles. I know jigidi is not for everyone, but still.
If i do an event again next year, maybe i'll change it to 100 or so, will have to think about it.

Considering the quality of the games donated (by mousewithbeer), I'd like to see about 250 pieces.

O_O So glad I started going to the puzzles section. Thank you for organizing this.
How about 400-500 for unbundled?
Comment has been collapsed.
All puzzles and giveaways aleady been made and can't and won't be changed anymore.
On average i am getting 40 solvers per puzzle, and increasing it will give some a bigger chance, but i would like it to be enjoyable for as many people as well, though 1 on 40 are still great odds.
To be honest i wouldn't even mind having been able to solve and join some myself, but since i know the links i will restrict myself from entering due possible conflict of interest.
When this event ends and return to my normal puzzles, i will increase pieces again on some puzzles, but usually with me, until i can afford it, they will be bundled games. Old puzzles can be found here.

I see no problem with the organizer joining in the giveaways. You have one ticket, the same as the rest of us. It's not like a casino where it's Us vs. the House (you).

But others have to solve a puzzle to get the ticket, i know the links before hand because i had to make the puzzles, and i can still do the puzzles, but unless i get in the top 10 (i am being slow), there won't be proof until i screenshot it, guess i can do that in case i would win.

Exactly! Although I have some more selfcontrol now, so I'm just cashing in and not getting more :P
Last year I 'bought' (cashing in old one and getting a new one) so many calendars that eventually they stopped asking me for my ID because they knew me

That's probably the best because usually such streaks on scratch cards do run out as there will be bad ones in between them, even though you keep hoping the next one will be the big one offcourse.
Tell me about it, sunday i went 4 times to the store and yesterday 3 times (and both days were cold) because i kept winning 5 euro, 10 euro, and in the end 40 euro (bought 2 new scratch cards, some other lotteries tickets, and still kept 10 euro. :)).
Comment has been collapsed.
Yep, those cards usually ended my streak, or I bought just one more because who knows... And then I end up in just winning more of those cards instead of a nice amount.
That 40 euros is nice, congratz! It takes quite some dedication to go outside a total of 7 times in that cold winter weather we Dutchies are having at the moment ;)

They do it on purpose, a new card instead of 5 euro, in the end they won't lose out on that, and perhaps hope you even buy more in the store.
Thanks, and oh you are dutch, thought i checked your profile looking at what other countries might have (similar) scratchcards too, but guess i had someone else's. :p It's 5 minutes on the bike, but still yeah cold.
I thought it would be the end of the freezing today, but well hopefully tommorow then. ;) I can handle a bit of cold though, but worried about Spotty, my ladybug friend.

Yup, they have to make profit and those cards are perfect for it.
I think 5 minutes by bike is even worse than 30 minutes by bike, has something to do with getting used to the cold. BTW, your ladybug friend can handle the cold a bit, but he's probably just living with you now because he thinks you've got a nice place to stay for the winter. If it's too hot he will burn his fat reserves so him not being so active is a good sign. Humidity shouldn't be low because he might dehydrate then.

Women always have it colder because there fat percentage or something is different too.
But i released it sunday as it wasn't moving very much (i gave it water and lettuce) inside but also when i released it, and i really thought it would atleast freeze a little less but it feels like it only got colder since sunday, and this might just have been of such a level that it might have been too cold, that i don't know.

Hah usually my boyfriend is the one who's always cold.
It might survive, maybe it found another place to go to. Most ladybugs unfortunately die when it freezes around March/April since they 'wake up' again then. Weather's too cold but they woke up to function like it's early spring :(

I'm a guy that easily wears 2 pair of socks and 2 sweaters in bed if it's too cold. :p
But i'm skinny like 75kg at 193cm, and have noone to warm me up. :/
Doesn't happen alot more though real freezing around those months, we barely have real winters anymore, as i posted in todays jigidi about the last elfstedentocht being in 1996.
It's nature and we can't always do a thing about it.

Not by me, so guessing by Mousewithbeer. I can't control who the donators have on their blacklist, you can either try asking him personally or leave his giveaways (a few more days) alone, and do the ones by me and other donators that will come later.

Your awful ratio and making a 400+ piece puzzle and not wanting to reveal whats the GA behind it didnt really sit well with me. But mostly your ratio.

i could have just sat in a closet and not given anything away and i wouldn't be on your blacklist. Who blacklists people for giving away games? Come on man that's just being mean.
Judging me on my ratio that's not really fair at all that's the one thing i hate most (like judging people on weather there rich or not). That's what sgtools is for, or even raising the lvl of your giveaways. I'm trying to give more away i even have a jigidi going right now.

Who blacklists people for giving away games?
I did not blacklist you for giving away games, the biggest reason I did was for the lack of games being given away.
Also I have nothing against if the creator doesnt list what game is given away if the puzzle is simple or the "reward" it is a train. But risking for people to waste a lot of time solving a 400 piece puzzle that leads to a giveaway of a commonly owned game its just an assholish thing to do in my opinion.
Judging me on my ratio that's not really fair at all that's
Why? If I prefer to give games away to people who also give games away, it should be my right, no?
That's what sgtools is for, or even raising the lvl of your giveaways
When I asked Lugum he said the giveaways should be lvl 0, I am just following the instructions he gave me. Rising the level doesnt even help against people with bad rations anyways. The sgtools point is fair enough, but once again for this giveaway I am just following what Lugum said to me.

Yes it's commonly owned and i gave many hits on that giveaway, and even told people if it was worth it or not for them to go for it. The clue was super obvious what kind of game i was giving away. Plus i forgot to mention those giveaways where bundled with more games so they actually got several more games out of that.
i guess i valued my single giveaway more than you did, i don't have the luxury to giveaway games on a daily basis i wish i could.
Everyone who did my puzzle all seemed to have enjoyed it, not one person who did the puzzle complained or did not enter it. So It might seem to you like an assholish thing to do, but i felt like it was a huge success. (That giveaway was a one time thing, my future giveaways will be of similar size but i will inform people what there going for.)
i would gladly do 500+ piece puzzles all day if it gave me better odds for the games i really want.
I'm just looking for a little Christmas spirit man i did your puzzle you probably chose not to do mine fine, I never blacklisted you and i still wont.

From the hits you gave it could have been any game in the half life series.

I have no problems with doing it either as long as I know whats behind that puzzle so I dont waste my time.

It is too late anyways because the gift has been already delivered, but no. If you fix your ratio I will gladly remove you, till then you are staying there.

I have no idea why you were blacklisted, I am 99% sure it was a missclick and I am really really sorry about that, you should be able to enter now.

Bump
Could you do it within one hour on Day 24+25? :)

Personally two gifts will be from me so i don't have to do those thus saving me time. :p While i been playing games for 32 years and have a reasonable good hand - eye coordination somehow i am slow at jigidi's, and am amazed how fast some can solve them. The finale will be a good one.

Ho, ho ho, It's the season to be jolly and what not, welcome to the second year of Lugum's Advent Jigidi.
As many know by now i decided to stop with jigidi's after this event is over, however i am open to still do some on special occasions like easter, halloween etc, although not as big as this event.
Because i got a bit overwhelmed with the donations (so be sure to have some time reserved), i am sorry if i didn't talk with everyone that offered, not ignored you on purpose, but i got a bit lost at one point, and if someone still wants, i can always put it in.
Last year i used an advent calendar, but someone managed to find a way to find all puzzles earlier, so that's why i am just skipping it this year and will just post new giveaways each day here.
All puzzles will be christmas and giveaway related, and they will run for 1 day, for 24 hours, starting on 0:00 GMT +1 or Amsterdam time, with no level restrictions.
Normally i'd always put every donator's name next to a giveaway but i often came across people suddenly remove you from a blacklist just for an event, but this time i won't (if you are on my list you can always ask me here, but leave other's people blacklist drama out please).
Any donator is free to join the other giveaways, and i will myself join too and post screenshots of a solved puzzle as proof (as i would have the links to the giveaways).
For donations give a big thanks to: AschmidtOhren, Delisper, Igel2005, Seretti, Shinpurple, Pfudor
Spoiler for Day 1
Rise & Shine
Toy Soldiers Complete
Carmageddon Max Damage
Death Goat
