Are you disappointed by Humble Bundle?
I'm angry only for Destiny 2 in monthly.
But be angry cause of revoked free game, really?
You didn't paid even penny for it and making this post.
Ffss... May be it's time to grow up?

Read your own topic again.
You're angry & disappointed cause someone stole your candy which you accidentally found
You went there, took the key.
Ask yourself : How long did it take?
(p.s. Don't thank me, answer is 1-2 minutes)
And afterwards - you created this topic (3-5 minutes to create) to cry about situation here.
Moral of story? You lost time twice.

Angry abrix is angry, now his steam library only counts 2473 games.
It's the dev's property, he can do what he likes with it. I don't see you posting positive
posts about all the other games you do get for free, and thanking the devs for it.
Stop whining and suck it up.

Being a consumer, i do care about the "reputation" they have and the way they are destroying it. Simple.
And you can check my steamdb, you will know how many games i bought and you're welcome to check my SG, so that your dirty eyes could see the GAs i made.

I'm more disappointed by the way support treats the customers who give their keys on SG...

I am angry at them because they declined the card I had paid previously with.
Their genius answer is to refer to paypal... tho I used the card directly on their site and I gave paypal as an example because they don't have a problem with my card.
They don't want my money, so I won't buy anything from them. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Given at worst you wasted a single click and maybe the entry of your email address, and you were being offered a free game in exchange for that, I think anything beyond mild annoyance is a plain overreaction. Whether it be due to a simple mistake, overestimating the volume of keys required, or a communication hiccup with the devs, it's still just a click that you have lost. If 8 seconds is such a high toll that it would generate such noteworthy anger in someone, then I would recommend they simply not bother entering.
Minor inconvenience when being given a free thing is not something that should generate anger, even if a mistake was made twice.
Honestly. Just take a deep breath and count to like... not even 3 :P

This type of error or you call as
is not what we expect in any circumstances, I'm sure HB are doing great things like funding for charity and all, but it's only because of what they did in the past, and to the extent since 2016 i recall, this kind of situation were not existed.
And always remember time is money, and sometimes a second is what can make you, or take you to shit, and people who are not attentive to their job, or their work, should take rest first, and then do their work again, that is not to make blunders.

Really? Because I think most adults expect to encounter random mistakes and unknown intervals. Regardless of what you feel a second can be, you chose to use that second to click for a free thing, that's not something the lack of a mess-up with the keys/permissions would prevent.
You are spending far more time chasing your tail and being flabbergasted at the concept of human error. If you value the wasted potential of your misspent time so dearly, perhaps you should reevaluate what exactly the goal of this thread and continued conversation is, and why you continue to pursue it. By all means the system of keys and permissions is a flawed one, but it is far from an issue that is unique to humble.

I like Humble bundle a lot. as someone who doesn't need too many games (196 games in my library), I got more than enough good quality games for bundle price is so awesome. And if there is only one game in the bundle I want, I can also get it by trade.
Though I didn't not get all free games I want, but I also didn't spend money so I am fine with that.
I also like when they have rebundle games in a regular bundle. Some bundle games are overrated in trade site. so it is nice to have opportunity to get these games in bundle price again. :D

That's not the only thing to be disappointed by from HB....and it's not getting better.

HB is going to be like g2a with their actions... after a year will be the same.... and don't talk about HB before IGN(where you got many games and everything was great) and talk about HB after IGN , did someone remember such things before IGN(i don't) , you ? Also the new costumers got a email for a bonus game Kingdom Come, than they told it was a mistake, like Fractured Lands...

Mistakes happen and they apologized about it to everyone via email. So no, I'm not mad at them, with the amount of work they do it's not unusual that sometimes they make a mistake. Hopefully they're going to start learning from their mistakes and pay extra attention so they don't repeat.

Tbh I'm more disappointed that 42% are disappointed. Errors happen, even if you're lumping the 2 separate incidents as the same (which they are not, but I digress). If you're lucky to have a job someday, you'd better hope your boss are not the perfectionist type who doesn't expect any errors from their employees.

Lemme tell u how the incidents are similar
Case 1 - they gave away game for free - after 10 minutes they ran out of keys - they said an email will be sent regarding the same - Now that email is no where to be seen
Case 2 - they gave away game for free - after 10 minutes they ran out of keys - they said an email will be sent regarding the same - We receive an email that they did a mistake - and also revoke the keys that they already gave away.
I guess now you'll see how the two cases are similar,

Hi abrix,
no I'm not angry with Humble, but I wonder what is going wrong with them. It's kinda embarassing and they are actively damaging their good reputation.
As long as they don't mess with my purchases, I have no reasons to be angry.
But believe me, once they are back with good bundles or deals, everything they screwed up will be forgotten.
Cheers

Hmmm, how to put this into perspective. Like how many times has HB screwed up and replied to reports with and without the big IGN crown jewels on their head. Probably heaps although i couldn't count and as a consumer i don't pull out my pitch fork and call to a mass cull spree for those responsible.
The most sensible person would simply send a letter of gesture and ask what the hell happened and they send you a few nice replies in return but there is no sympathy for a small mistake but who would grieve over a key when its easily replaceable. There are reasons when they cannot
I do recall those times when i did just that and the outcome was great as it opens the door to a lovely friendship and they will be forever grateful for your generousity and honesty.
That aside, IGN has a taint over whatever it grasps from their gnarly claws and i feel sorry for the humble staff who are taking the brunt for it.
And abrix, please take a step back and look at both sides because your arguement isn't getting you anywhere.

Still waiting for 2 "free" keys from humble that are a few weeks to months old. Its kinda disappointing but I. probably wouldn't play them, and I've already had a lot of Humble games I got a good discount on through bundles so I don't really care.

Hello everyone,
Recently this is the second time that humble announced a free game to be distributed and within like 15 minutes, they said that the keys are temporarily not available and will be given when it would be there.
And like 10 minutes ago, i received an email saying that the keys WILL NOT BE DELIVERED and instead they are giving 30% discount on that game.
Isn't it a bit too much? Never seen before that the keys were exhausted within 15 minutes.
What do you think about this behavior?
Case 1 - Glass Masquerade | Contents
Case 2 - Fractured Lands | HB email
HB REVOKE EMAIL
NOTE -
Glass masquerade has the similar problem where it was given away for free and then the keys never arrived, and now it's showing that the redemption deadline has been missed (which never ever happened before, at least with me, being to regular).
