When they especially mention that the keys are exhausted, it is a misleading form of text alerting the user making get their hopes up high, but i understand that a line has been drawn where the free keys are interpreted as a stipulation so it isn't a free key anyway, you aren't really entitled to them and the blame game falls on the publisher who is the main culprit who distributed them in the first place.

Revoking keys and ending giveaway is understandable.
But revoking keys that were already used is bad. Also - thanks to way they give those keys (as purchase for 0$) it's also illegal in some countries.
I'm not even going to tell that this is black PR. My trust for them can't got lower after how they changed their support.
And I can't stand stupid "anti-resellers" philosophy where everything is consumers fault. Not stupid developers, their greed or the fact that they actually do nothing to fight with reselling keys xD

it doesn't matter, you should be glad they even give out free games from time to time. they don't owe you anything.

The free games they provide are usually given a short time after on steam, so no real reason to complain. In this case it was just a mistake, the game was not even free. Humble is still amazing in my eyes.
There are just two things i can complain about, the non steam games in the monthly (I'm sure many are pissed about destiny 2) and the way they treat their long time loyal subscribers.

I couldn't care less that Humble had to revoke keys for a shitty game that no-one was going to play anyway due to human error and misunderstanding. What I do care about is that Humble continue to offer so many charitable options (and that that money actually gets where it is supposed to go), and to offer for sale mostly games that people actually do want to play, and that they don't cave to the mega shitty bundle business model.

I know it sucks, when You think You will get something for free and then You actually can't get it for free, BUT
whatever, who cares, You didn't lose anything.
At least THEY often manage to really give out games FOR FREE! .. FREE GAMES, I mean, wtf this is pretty nice! And many of these games were even really awesome!

Was in a line earlier cause they were handing FREE girl scout cookies. Some bullshit charity (didn't care enough to remember the name).
and when i finally got to the counter , that fucking bitch of an 9 year old told me that they were out of Thin Mints AND Tagalongs. but i could still get a free box of lemonades and whatever else i wanted to buy. she even said all of that with a smile, which was simply adding more insult to it. I ended up sucker punching the hell out of that 9 year old. I mean , who the hell does she think she is? i wanted a free box of Thin Mints , not Lemonades!.

Anyway , I would recommend that you all boycott them cause they are horrible.

@Abrix After reading through the thread it's pretty clear you're angry. You think this extremely horrible injustice has been done and it's irresponsible on a massive scale and that the person responsible for this treacherous act should be fined and fired but not for what most people would think. And that would be that Unbroken Studios just had hundreds of copies of their game given out for free without agreeing to this losing a bunch of money. But that's not why you feel that way at all. You feel that way because they stopped giving away free copies and the game is being revoked and you didn't get a copy of it and that HB should still honor it regardless of what happened to the devs and their game.. and that's just sad.

No champ, I'm not angry 'on' Humble Bundle, I will be angry 'on' Monday morning though if the garbage truck wakes me up early like it did last Monday. I am however angry 'at' Humble Bundle for other reasons.

I don't feel angry or disappointed at all. I don't know how you guys were raised, but If I ever received a gift from someone (crelatives) and if they wanted the gift back due to some reason or another, I wouldn't mind. After-all, it was a free gift.

It just feels downright petty to complain about free stuff. It's not a big deal. It's not a mistake where their "stocks" will drop.

Also, I received loads of free games from HB like Darkness II in the past, so forgive and forget.

Well I can't complain has i just joined HB about 5 month ago so make some savings on games & i Know i'm Not going to Win on SG as a Lot of monthly Games are put UP at Level 0 if its AAA Game 9,000 i think tops thats why i joined HB.
I do like HB due to i can buy a game from store and give to charity MY CHOICE WATER AID Plus 10% off Game.
But have got some FREE KEYS for Games without having a subscription but that was through seeking Games like Reddit.
Think it would be nice if they Gave to Subscribers A chance frist.

After reading this thread I’m considering giving humble a bigger tip on my next purchase because they managed to “not” piss our op off.

In the case of glass masquerade, someone noticed the game showed up on certain key resale sites until the key expiration date. (in short honest people got screwed over by bots in addition to people doing cheap shot GAs)

And I didn't get mad on HB for that.

They better stop giving away free stuff so people stop whining xD

i’m still waiting for my free meadow key. most days i try to redeem it and it says “Keys are temporarily exhausted for this product. As soon as we receive more keys, we will add them to this page and send you an email.” it’s been long enough now i doubt it’s ever coming and i didn’t pay for it and wasn’t super excited for it but it makes me trust humble less than i used to. i also clicked the button for glass masquerade which acted the same way as meadow except it also had a date it had to be redeemed by and of course the date passed with no key provided. i would prefer if they have a limited supply of keys they just say so.

Not angry, am sad about HB quality, it was epic... Now full of rebundled, weird bundles, store deal still same games with same discounts over and over, bonuses/coupons? Yeah only for new users... Since ign own it its quality goin down. At least its my feeling, original HB was better
