GIVEAWAY HAS ENDED. winners have been contacted. thanks for playing, everyone!
now that the sale is on, i thought it would be a good opportunity to share some lesser-known games i like that don't look like they've been in any bundles yet.
a few rules:
the winner will need to accept my friend request on Steam so i can send them their gift.
please accept the gift within 24 hours of the giveaway ending.
please only enter if you think you'll play & enjoy the game.
the stops:
Herald: An Interactive Period Drama - point & click interactive fiction set on a merchant ship in an alternate-history 19th century. lots of narrative branching, though i've only done one playthrough so far. i backed its Kickstarter campaign and am really happy with how it turned out. there's a second part in the making but no idea when that will be available.
This Starry Midnight We Make - kind of hard to describe. part visual novel, part experimental universe creation sim? pretty unusual but i was into it.
Solitairica - "RPG combat and challenging roguelike progression" according to the store page. you'll probably die a lot but if you like solitaire and/or card battlers you probably won't mind.
The Room - puzzle-box opening mystery with great atmosphere.
An Octave Higher - indie visual novel set in an alternate universe with magic. not a whole lot of story branching, and some of the endings can be frustrating, but i was absorbed into this fictional world more thoroughly than any other game i've played in the last year. recommended if you like thoughtful, fleshed-out worldbuilding.
