I hate Zonitron. They added a bunch of games to my library that I never asked for, just because I owned other games from them. And now I'm forced to play them.

They are not really removed, you can add them back anytime you want. And I already got achievements in some of them, so stats cannot be erased, I have to play them fully now, games or not.

They're talking about having the games removed from your account entirely, like they were never purchased at all.

Hm, I didn't know that was possible, the only option I know that removes games allows them to be added back again. What would happen to stats in this case? Would my achievement count decrease and I removed from the stats of the game?

I honestly don't know as I've never had support remove any games from my account.

I guess I would consider doing it if it was truly gone from my account and there was no way that I could ever ever get it back, but I can live with it, it's just a few games anyway.

Now I'm confused, some say it does, others say it doesn't...
Guess I'll trust Steam, since this is found when trying to do it:
Games will not be automatically uninstalled nor will achievements and playtime be removed from your profile.

I have playtime and achievements in games I've never owned through family sharing. I've deleted a few games from my account that I still have playtime in. My housemate still has playtime and achievements in a game he got on G2A that got revoked. I'm pretty sure 'ownership' status has no impact on playtime and achievements.

Do these Zonitron games' achievements specifically count tho? Since they've been nuked by Steam...

I didn't have any of the affected games so I can't speak from experience on those. I'm just assuming that if you still have playtime/achievements in the games then having them removed isn't going to make any difference. But if you find out different then feel free to let us know!

I don't think I'll try. One of the Zonitron games I own I won here on SG, so I couldn't remove it. And if I can't remove all, better to keep them...

Good only 22 games, half of them appear magically in my lib and now they disappear magically :v
I just try a keys for Cubelets:The Void from Indiegala, it can still be activated tho dropped by valve.

The problem is...
if you accidentally activate 1 of their free game,
they will add more, automatically direct to your steam library.

Lol just opened steam and got a booster pack for one of their games. Worthless

Finally, they should make it much earlier but great they did after all, they were expoiting steam direct since it's beggening, but who was smart knew that sooner or later this gonna happen thats why i never bought any of those shitty asset flips with different colors and names ;)

Fruit Sodoku 4 was pretty lame tho, it didnt end up to the expectations of the cliffhanger on FS3

Well, that's just silly. Apparently I can't actually delete these games from my library anymore because, well, they are "uninitialized", and it's impossible to find them via standard "support" menu. Are there any workarounds for such cases?

I'm a moron, I didn't realize it was possible to access support directly from game pages. Thank you :)

Polygon article with a reaction of Valve:
Yes, we have a full-time team monitoring reports and they identified an issue that lead to the removal of some titles from a few different Steamworks accounts. These accounts were generating a lot of reports and frustration from customers and other developers. It turns out that the bad actors were all the same person operating under different accounts.
What we found was a set of extreme actions by this person that was negatively impacting the functionality of the store and our tools. For example, this person was mass-shipping nearly-identical products on Steam that were impacting the storeโs functionality and making it harder for players interested in finding fun games to play. This developer was also abusing Steam keys and misrepresenting themselves on the Steam store.
As a result, we have removed those games from the Steam Store and ended our business relationship with them.
The Steam platform is open, but we do ask developers to respect our customers and our policies. Spamming cloned games or manipulating our store tools isnโt something we will tolerate. Our priority is helping players find games they will enjoy playing.

Gamespot covers this in their new article and they also post Sid Alpha's new video about the issue.

And yeah it's not the same Anteater Games that makes Camera Obscura, so that's good :)

I have a question: If we won a giveaway with one of Zonitron games are we in danger of a ban from steamgifts?! I remember there was some kind of a bug with API (or something like that I don't know for sure) with Digital Homicide when they got removed and some users with winning games from them got a ban. P.S :If there is a thread about this I'm sorry.

I got a few more removed games today, so I guess Valve is still removing games but to a lesser extent.

By the way, just to give people here some semblance of the magnitude we are talking here and to show how small a drop in the ocean Zonitron was, here is just a small little Russian site. I let you find out from this super camouflaged site name what its purpose is:

173 games down, how many thousands left to go? ๐

I just checked my profile today and I'm -14 games on my account. I guess they're still taking action against them because the day you posted this thread I noticed I owned like a Complete collection of some of those games, even yesterday I had the same number of games in my library. Nevertheless, I'm Ok with Valve removing those games, I think I got em for free in some website and I'm sure I will not miss them.

I noticed that it didn't update the count for me until I added another game to my library, and then my count dropped off.
You also still have the games in your library and can download and play them - they just don't count in your profile's statistics. You'll notice that the game count in your library is different than the one on your profile page, and all the games you owned (probably including at least one goocubelets game) are still there.

All of their games seem to have been removed from sale, and the cards I had listed on the market are now returned to me with the "Valve no longer has a business relationship" message.
