Some days ago I was unaware of what Barbie is capable off. Then I had an epiphany with Cuphead (epiphany is also celebrated today at 6th January - another coincidence that should be possible thanks to Barbie) and I realized her true strength and omnipotency. It is not that i don't understand the concepts, i can follow along fairly well for the most part but there are some material that i am struggling a little bit to comprehend

Have you asked some of your fellow students for help or group-studying?

Oh yes not sure if anyone has made a thread about New Year Resolutions but no matter, Do you have any New Year Resolution?

I usually don't make NYR's because I know I'll never follow through. But this year I want to make something out of myself, that is start towards that path at the very least. Things I'd like to do:

• Exercise often and get myself in shape
• Finally get a drivers license and a car, both of which I managed to save up for last year (for a car I'd be buying a cheap used one)
• Get into drawing/programming or preferably both (I'm thinking about buying graphical tablet soon and messing around with it, no idea where I'd start with programming though)

Basically this should be the year when I finally start being productive and put some effort into myself and try finding a way to improve my life and my future.

Lots of luck with the test! I am a Mathematician myself, it is a very good career... Not perfect, but very good.

Actually, maybe it is perfect.

In all seriousness, I wish you nothing but success. You've been very friendly and generous on SG and spread a lot of happiness, and I don't believe in karma but you deserve to be generous to yourself. You seem to have a goal and a plan and the motivation to make it happen, which is more than about 95% of us can say for ourselves, so you're already one step ahead of the game.

Time rests for absolutely nobody, and the best time to make a positive change in your life is right now. So, go get 'em. And see you back here after you've gotten your cert. :)

Hey there, have you heard of this math book https://www.amazon.es/Burn-Math-Class-Reinvent-Mathematics/dp/0465053734

This may sound like a promotion but I failed calculus twice at my university and then I found this book. Pretty refreshing way to teach things I couldnt understand before since my calculus teacher was pretty dogmatic and boring as fuck. Well maybe you do not need it but check it out. I managed to pass with a high note after 6 months of going to the library and doing exercises with this book.

You better get that certification! SG can't lose you! I mean, sure, it'll probably lead to a better job, more money, and otherwise improve your life, but lets not lose sight of the important things here!

Seriously, though, good luck! I hope you nail that certification, land the job, and then report back on how you're going to become an expert on string theory! :)

As to answer you question, I shall finish writing my novel this year, writing at least 165 words a day. As for now I'm still holding up to my resolution. :)
