Bought the Isaac DLC for 1 euro, and the next day it turned 0.50... The horror.

On a more serious note, not counting some bundle games that are just ASS (Doodles and Turba for example), there's not one that I bought through Steam and regretted. I thought I was going to regret Serious Sam: The Random Encounter, but oh boy, is it fucking awesome!

GTA IV. Worst purchase I've made in my entire life. And I loved the previous entries in the series.

Fallout 3.. Loved the game on the 360 sunk countless hours into it so I bought it on Steam and it's nigh unplayable, enter a house.. crash, jump over a fence.. crash, play for more than a hour.. crash, tried every fix offered up online and nothing worked so now it's sitting in my library unplayed mocking me.

I've got pretty much the same problem. except I bought my copy from a local shop. I haven't tried using the community patch yet but heard it fixed a ridiculous amount of bugs so you might wan to give it a shot

World Basketball Manager (WBM) - I know it already sounds bad but I love basketball and NBA games (have 175 hours in NBA2k12 on Steam) and I love sports management games (54 hours of Football Manager 2012) but WBM game is the worst thing I have ever purchased on Steam... and I own Flora's Fruit Farm, which was part of an old Square Enix/Eidos pack on Steam, but is 10 times better than this crap.

Lucidity: so damn short ( < 1 hour )
Nikopol: so damn short ( < 1.5 hours )
Dear Esther: so damn short ( < 2 hours ) and so boring (but very nice atmosphere)
Deus Ex: HR: because of the sale that followed shortly after I bought it
The Darkness 2: because of the sale that followed shortly after I bought it

Breach

The game company completely tanked and disappeared into the cracks of the earth shortly after and was never heard from again. The game itself was removed from steam and anyone with less than 20 hours on it was refunded... I played 22. I liked the game and it had potential, but it was unpatched, buggy, and unbalanced.

Definitely E.Y.E. Divine Cybermancy, it's way too frustrating for my taste. Good thing I got it on a sale.

quite a pity, E.Y.E is a nice game - not as polished as deus ex: hr or such of course, but still very interesting

It really seems unique and I liked the atmosphere and artstyle but I just couldn't get over the fact that enemies constantly respawn and can spot you from a mile. I might try a different play style or something, maybe I was just doing it wrong.

Monday Night Combat - fun at first but got stale and few players
The Sims 3 - don't really know why I bought it (one of the first games I bought on steam), but used to be fun before I got a lot more games, now it just sits there

Silverfall. While it had an interesting idea for the setting, it did everything wrong: the graphics have this poorly-done cel-shading; the sound effects and music are repetetive; the map design is horrible; the interface is clunky, and the keyboard controls make no sense. I tried multiple times to play it through, and could never bring myself to progress much past the first map.

Another one was Chrome. First, the name just doesn't fit -- it's apparently some sort of super mineral, so why'd they name it after something else? The voice-acting was terrible, and the missions were frustrating.

Last one is Hazen: the Dark Whispers. It's just a poorly-designed Diablo clone.

There are a few others I don't touch, but I got them as part of bundle deals (especially the Humble Indie Bundles), so I can't count them.

Silverfalls biggest problem for me was the autoleveled enemies, you never get more powerful, you always feel like you're getting weaker because enemies level up with you. The only way to survive to to keep moving and it got tiring for me.

Diablo 3. Never regretted a game as much as this one, and I purchased four copies so all my friends could enjoy it. That did not turn out so well...

Killing Floor, RISK Factions.

I seriously did not know Killing Floor played like CS: Zombies. Oh well, multiplayer when I've got SG net back @_@

And RISK Factions is going to Facebook.. What the shit. Its a damn good game, but they're literally making it free to play (or pay to win on Facebook, but still).

Almost forgot one, Empire Total War. Bought Emp+Nap retail cause downloading both is a total drag, still havent installed Nap, but damn, Empire still runs like hell on my i7-2630QM and HD 6990M. The biggest problem is actually the world map, it lags like hell on my own turn..
